Application Process

State agencies and the general public may request use of the Capitol Complex for public events by completing this on-line application.

Applications will be reviewed for approval on a first come basis after 6:00 a.m. one year in advance of the desired event date.

Please review the Capitol Complex Events Calendar for availability prior to submitting requests.
The Event Coordinator will create a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for non-state agency events and email the agreement to the Event Requestor's Representative(s).
Groups planning to penetrate the turf with signs, tent posts, flags, etc. are required to complete the Capitol Complex Ground Penetration Process and Form.
Groups requesting the Governor or Lt. Governor to speak at the event will need to Submit a Scheduling Request Form.
