WNY Advising Feedback Survey
We are reaching out to get your feedback on the future of the Western New York (WNY) Advising conference. Our committee decided to pause the annual conference originally scheduled for 2024 and take time to refocus, rebuild, and reinvent WNY Advising as we look to return to in-person conferences in the future.

The Challenge:
While we successfully pivoted online for our coffee chats and conferences over the past few years, and expanded our reach, we have missed the in-person networking and community.  A return to in-person events is not without challenges, including increased venue costs, uncertain attendance, speaker fees, food options, accessibility needs, and other unexpected costs.  As an organization whose purpose is to support professional development related to advising in higher education in our region, we have a limited budget and rely on advertising and registration fees to break even.  This means that a return to in-person events will require locating a venue that will allow us to scale the costs based on attendance, as well as an opportunity for smaller more focused events.
