Every single investment company all plays up their wins and play down their
losses. They will tell you what is predicted for the coming year in a sector based on
past performance, but then in the small print say past performance is no proof of
future performance.
A way to look at mutual fund investing is this. If you were to go into a casino and
you were given the chance to play a game that gave you a 2 in 3 chance of losing
or a game that gave you a 5 in 6 chance of winning which would you choose? I
believe it was Robert Kiyosaki who came up with that scenario.
By the way if you chose the game that gave you a 5 in 6 chance of winning you
chose to play Russian Roulette over buying a mutual fund. Binary Options gives
you a 50/50 chance of winning or losing.
So yes it is a form of betting but, any type of investment strategy that is hoping for
an increase in value is a form gambling.
Whenever you go onto ClickBank and look in the Internet Marketing Niche; do
you see a common theme? About how people who have bought into their secret
marketing system are now rich beyond their wildest dreams and were able to go
tell their bosses what to go do with themselves?

Any type of MLM or network marketing business meeting that you'll ever go to
will tell you of the people who were able to quit their day jobs within a month of
signing up.
Not to mention all the weight loss products where people lost over 100 pounds. Or
the body building systems where a skinny guy went from no girl giving him the
time of day to a super hunk with women crawling all over him like in the Axe
commercials.
The key thing is to take everything with a grain (or perhaps a handful) of salt. Not
just the people who hype up a program or opportunity but the people who tear it
down as well.
There are people who have used MLM and a ClickBank product to make
themselves rich, just as there are people who have lost a significant amount of
weight and those who have increased their muscle mass significantly.
But remember to read the small print that says the results are not typical, individual
results will vary.
