| Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs): |
---|---|
| Q: What is the purpose of the Corporate COVID-19 Index (CCI)? |
| A: We believe that large corporations should not put "profits over people" -- especially at a time like this. The main goal of the CCI is to inform consumers how large corporations are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic through a Ranking System that takes into account what Americans value the most. (See JUST Capital Leadership Principles) |
| Q: How was the Corporate COVID-19 Index (CCI) created? |
| A: The CCI was created after an assessment of various corporate indices. We modeled our CCI after the HRC Corporate Equality Index, and incorporated the JUST Capital Leadership Principles in our Ranking System criteria. After expert consultations, we inputted relevant data using company press releases, trustworthy media organizations, and other data sources. (See this document for company-specific links) |
| Q: Which data elements came from which data sources? |
| A: Providing the most accurate and up-to-date information on the COVID-19 pandemic requires cross-referencing data. Along our Data Sources (which contain more links), see this document for company-specific links. |
| Q: What does [insert word/phrase] mean? |
| A: See this document explaining our interpretations of each section/subsection. |
| Q: How often is the Corporate COVID-19 Index (CCI) updated? |
| A: We try to keep the CCI as updated as possible. The CCI will be updated at least every two weeks. Date of most recent update will be displayed above the CCI. |
| Q: Who can I contact if I want to report a(n) mistake/update? |
| A: For any kinds of report, you can contact us through covid@progressiveshopper.com, and we will take your feedback into consideration, and correct/update our data. |
