8 | Attendee No Solicitation Policy It is our hope that you have a fabulous Expo! We try very hard to prevent attendees from soliciting our Exhibitors. There are signs posted throughout the Exhibitor Hall & we have staff patrolling the aisles making sure attendees adhere to this policy. If you do have a problem with an attendee, please let our staff know or take a note of the attendee’s name so we can explain to them our strict No Solicitation Policy. If an attendee fails to follow this policy, we will kindly ask them to leave. Thanks for your help with this! | |

10 | Small Business Expo is a CLOSED LABOR Show. For your security & safety, no outside labor companies are permitted to set-up or dismantle your booth. All labor must be ordered through Small Business Expo directly. Labor is defined as the assistance of setting up and/or dismantle of your booth. Exhibitors are permitted to have a supervisor to oversee labor. If your booth is 100 sq. ft. or less, you may install and dismantle your own exhibit provided you meet these requirements: 1. The set-up can be accomplished in 1.5 hours or less by a maximum of 2 full-time employees of the exhibiting company (see schedule below). 2. No tools are required. 3. Individuals performing the work must be full-time employees of the exhibiting company and carry identification to verify this fact. 8 | Your workshop room comes equipped with the following: ● Standard 75" HD TV ● Standard HDMI cable and USB C dongle ● PA-style speaker system with ● Wireless microphone or wired handheld microphone (based on availability at the discretion of AV team) ● 3.5mm audio cable connector for presentation audio to connect to your laptop/PC ● Tall-Round Skirted Table or Podium (Depending on City) For Laptop & Notes ● Seating for approximately 50-75 people depending on size of room ● The lighting will be pre-adjusted for you upon arrival (please DO NOT change the lighting in the rooms out of respect for the other presenters) Not Included (please bring with you): ● Laptop/Computer/iPad ● Wireless presentation remote clicker ● Apple Mini DisplayPort adaptor ● Thunderbolt or iPad adaptor ● Wireless Internet If you plan on doing a PowerPoint or using a laptop, please bring a laptop with you. We suggest all presenters test their laptop’s Video and Audio ports before arriving to assure a smooth presentation. Try testing on an external monitor before you arrive (if possible). Please note, WE DO NOT have laptops available on-site for you to use. INTERNET: ● Wifi is not always available at all locations without purchase. 12 | ARRIVAL INFORMATION: Please check-in at Small Business Expo at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled time listed on your confirm email. Check in at Exhibitor Services in our Registration Area to get your Badge. All Keynote Theatre Presentations are 45 minutes in duration. To ensure your presentation starts and ends on time there will be a countdown timer in front of the Stage. Digital Presentation Requirements ● The presentation will play on our MacBook Pro w/ Microsoft Office ● Format your presentation as a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation (.pptx) ● Format your presentation for a standard HDTV 16:9 ratio screen. ● All video files must be embedded in the presentation, not linked to the web as we cannot guarantee internet access at the mainstage. ● Please email your presentation to conference@theshowproducers.com at least 2 weeks before the show. CONTENT ONLY (NO PRODUCT DEMOS OR SALES PITCH) - PLEASE DO NOT SELL (90/10 RULE): Please remember your presentation must be content driven (not a sales pitch). We suggest the 90/10 rule. 90% of your presentation content must be pure content (not a sales pitch or product demo). You are not allowed to sell until the last 5 minutes of your presentation (if at all). Attendees will be so excited by your content that they will want to talk with you afterward. That is the time to sell your product/service and not during your presentation. | |||

The only exception is if an exhibitor manufactures, distributes, produces or sells food and beverage in their normal day to day operations. If and only if the exhibitor produces these items in their daily operations, they may sample food and beverage. Exhibitors may distribute, sample food and/or beverage products ONLY upon written authorization. Sampling requests must be submitted no less than (30) business days prior to the event date for consideration. REGULATIONS 1. All products sampled must be commercially manufactured and FDA approved. 2. Exhibitors must adhere to local Retail Food Codes and proper food handling procedures. 3. Sampling may not include items that directly compete with the venues Exclusive Catering Company and/or its retail concession outlets. 4. Only approved items may be distributed. 5. All sample food items are limited to “bite size.” 6. Non-alcoholic beverages are limited to a maximum of a two (2) ounce container and no more than one (1) ounce of product. No cans or bottles will be permitted. All samples must be serviced in plastic cups. 7. Alcoholic beverage sampling is permitted only if you are the manufacturer or distributor of the beverage. Alcoholic beverages must be “sample” sizes in two (2) ounce for wine/beer and .25 ounce pour for liquor. Additional fees for a floor supervisor or bartender may apply. BUY-OUT FEES Any Food and Beverage brought on the premises without the written authorization from Small Business Expo is prohibited. Hosted catering/booth or events that do not fall within the Sampling parameters listed above may incur a Buy-Out Fee. An appropriate buy-out fee will be determined by Small Business Expo and The Exclusive Catering company on a case-by-case basis. Unauthorized product brought onsite will be subject to an additional 25% buyout cost. Sampling request must be submitted no less than (30) business days prior to the event date for consideration.
