Coordinating with all departments to get a show in and tech it and opened. I am in charge of advancing over 65 road shows every year. These shows vary greatly from pop music, jazz, major dance companies, classical music, performance art, circus groups, mimes, you name it. I have talked and can talk about what the presenting side of the business should be asking and dealing with, and what the touring group should be including in the technical riders. How to make it easier to hang a light plot. At McCarter we hang about 40 light plots a year. We sometimes have very little time to get from one plot to another. I can share techniques that we have employed in the last 35 years at the McCarter. On the management side, I have thoughts and process that helps to manage a casual work force. Many theaters depend heavily on casual labor and I have developed some easy to follow bullet points for making this a much more successful process. I have worked 35 seasons for one of the busiest performing arts center in America. McCarter produces 6 full LORT productions a year and also presents some 65 road shows and 25 University performances or productions. I am happy to consider any class that you might feel meets with my skill sets. | YES | |||||||||||||||
