The Sparta High School Marching Band is in its second year of competitive marching. This year they will be attending Hudson Rhythm on the River Marching Marching Competition September 28, and the Milton Red Hawk Marching Band Invitational on October 12. Our show theme this year is "Valhalla" and features brand new music, props, and more! The band is directed by Andrew Nicholson and Carrie Thompson, with color guard coordinated by Katelyn Klievey. Drum Majors are Karla Mendoza Gonzalez, Logan Eilers, and Cooper Schauf. Today they are performing the Bon Jovi hit, "You Give Love A Bad Name"!

Filipino American of West Wisconsin is a Filipino descent from various locations including Sparta, Tomah, La Crosse and neighboring cities. We gathered together to showcase our cultural dance, pride and tradition. Our group's desire is to be known of our existence, not only in the city but the whole Wisconsin. The princesses and escorts represents the Philippines three (3) biggest islands called Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Followed by the marchers wearing our traditional costumes and dozens of Filipino indigenous dancers with our music entitled "Una Kaya" meaning "First You Can" motivating indigenous people to move on and succeed in life. Again, we are the Filipino American of Wisconsin.

ZOR SHRINER MIDGETS


The Midgets were formed in 1969. This is our 55th year performing in parades.

The unit consists of 13 miniature Plymouth Prowlers cars that were purchased in 2022. You might not recognize the new cars as we have transitioned from our miniature 68 Thunderbirds but the members are excited to continue to dazzle the crowd.

The fees received for performing at parades are used to support the Shriners Hospitals for children. Through the years this has amounted to over $130,000.00.

The Zor Misfitz are a member of Zor Shriners. Shriners
Children's medical facilities have been providing orthopedic care for over 100 years treating over 1.5 million children. Shriners changes lives every day through innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research, and outstanding medical education.

Clowns, walkers andmotorized vehicles, may include other Shriners and Freemasons.

There will be a redimix truck with a side by side and some walkers passing out candy and some other things
