This spreadsheet contains data that you can use to compare the many Wikimedia wikis. For the full definition of each metric, see the "Metric definitions" tab. Each snapshot is based on a full year of data so the metrics are not skewed by brief spikes or seasonal fluctuations; for example, the "Jan 2026" snapshot is based on data from the start of February 2025 to the end of January 2026.

Note that the choice of metrics and, in rare cases, their definitions can change from snapshot to snapshot. You can safely compare different wikis within one snapshot, but you may not be able to compare one wiki across different snapshots. For details, see the "Change log" tab.

This spreadsheet is not publicly editable, but you can still sort and filter it by creating a filter view (Data → Filter views → Create new temporary filter view). You can also download the data (File → Download) or, if you're signed in to a Google account, make a copy (File → Make a copy).

The code that generates this data is available in Wikimedia GitLab, where you can also find copies of the snapshots in TSV format.
