27	Welcome to Pokemon Righteous Red: a rom-hack of Pokémon Red version, and a large scale one at that. The goal of this project was to enhance what Red is in many different ways, from the Pokémon themselves to the experience of Kanto as a whole. From fixing bugs and glitches, adding new places to explore, fighting new or stronger adversaries and perhaps even discovering some mysteries beyond what I've described-- the original charm of Generation 1 has never been more charming.

31		I'm Night; concept creator and co-developer of Righteous Red, I was the one who proposed the idea for an enhanced version of Red. Originally working on the project on my own, my initial goal was simply to rebalance the cast of Generation 1 Pokémon, however....as I wrapped up the balancing process, I found myself wanting to do more and more things beyond just balancing and my pool of knowledge and time was limited for the scope I was shooting for. With that being said-- I recruited both Camel and Shadow to the project to help me move things along, I'm sure you'll be hearing from them both soon. I look forward to enjoying Righteous Red with everyone here and I hope you all can enjoy playing it as much as I've enjoyed working on it.

33		Hi all, I'm camel, lead developer of Righteous Red. Night ended up bringing me on to help with balancing and do hex editing to fix the typings and type chart, but over time my involvement with the project grew drastically and I ended up migrating the entire project over to the pokered decomp. I'm the one responsible for implementing any changes to the game that Night comes up with, and writing the code for ideas of my own (common candies, toggle repel, item pc, and sacred ash to name a few). I'm also a competitive Pokemon player so I've had a large part in balancing stats and learnsets, and I created the teams for the major fights in the game. I'm excited to keep working on this project as I've put a lot of time into it, and I hope everyone enjoys it!

35		How's it going everyone I'm Shadow Stitch, my main role here for the Righteous Red team is to act as your community manager. If there are any concerns or things you would like to see for the discord server feel free to let me know, my DMs are open if you feel you need to talk to me privately. I also help with production through testing, and helping come up with and refine ideas. While I'm not the most hands on with the development I've helped make a few maps and balance some move pools and stat changes. I'm the one responsible for creating more appealing documentation like the current master doc you have here, there is a lot of information so if you see we're missing something please be patient and know we want you all to know as much as we do about the game. I also make content and stream on Youtube which you can find links for in my discord profile if you're curious so, when we get to it, I will be the one managing any outward facing content for the game from the dev team. Night is a good friend in my personal life and like my little brother so really it's a part time job keeping some of his ideas in check sometimes but I love him all the same. I hope you all enjoy yourself and best of luck in your playthroughs, feel free to let us know of any improvements you'd like to see!

24		Pallet Town	Sacred Ash	After you receive your Pokedex be sure to stop by your rival's house and his sister will give you a free Sacred Ash. This infinite bag of magical powder will instantly heal your entire party for free. It's like having a Pokemon Center on the go!

29		Vermillion City	Item PC	Constantly running out of bag space? Be sure to talk to the Pokemon Fan Club chairman to get a free Item PC. At anytime open it up to store items in your personal PC to save for future use or just to collect dust.

34		Cerulean City	Toggle Repel	If those random encounters are getting on your nerves be sure to stop by the Bike Shop in Cerulean to get a free Toggle Repel. It's an infinite use Repel that will give a full 255 steps of encounter free strolling. Works great to get through those long dungeons or repel manips.

39		Safari Zone	SS Ticket	Make your way to the end of the Safari Zone and receive a wonderul prize. A one time trip to the SS Anne currently moored in the Vermillion Harbor. You're going to definetly need the captain's help to learn how to Surf so don't be late to the party.

55		Lavender Town	Old Rod	The fisherman that gives the Old Rod has moved to Lavender Town for a peaceful retirement where he can go fishing everyday on the bridge. It may only bring up Magikarp still but certainly worth the wait if you want a powerhouse Gyarados.

60		Route 12	Good Rod	After you can move the Snorlax your first upgrade is available on the way to Fuschia City in the fisherman's hut. A few strong mid level mons can be found using it so be sure to choke up on the handle and pull hard.

65		Pewter City	Super Rod	Your final upgrade can be found near the end of your journey in Pewter. This master fisherman gives you what you need to bag the biggest hauls in the region. Maybe he's the reason the pond around the Dratini's is free of predators.

2	I have constructed this list to be in the order that you are most likely to encounter the trainers, of course this is not exact and you may choose to travel through routes in different ways then me so please keep that in mind. Trainers are also labeled as optional or mandatory, please referance the notes under the location information if you see a *. Many locations are available before I have them listed here, treat this more as the suggested or intended route. Trainers in Righteous Red function very similar to the base game, all the trainers here will follow a set of rules: 1. All Pokemon have their movesets determined by their level-up moves, please referance the apporiate sheet. 2. All standard trainer Pokemon are the same level, that is why you only see one level because it extends to every member of their team. 3. All trainers will send out their Pokemon in the order listed. 4. Most trainers do not switch their Pokemon, with the exception of the Juggler class which has a 25% chance to switch to their next Pokemon each turn. 5. A large majority of trainers especially in the mid-late game have been given "good AI" so they will almost always choose the best move to use even if you switch. Also refered to as "cheater AI" this AI is the most challenging and more difficult to exploit, but some Gen 1 quirks are still intact.
