HOW DO I BOOK?

Just type your name in each half hour slot on the date and time you require. All changes, edits and updates are saved immediatelly and automatically, as soon as you click in another box.

CAN NON-MEMBERS PLAY?

Yes; guests of club members are very welcome but they are not able to book a court. To support the financial sustainability of the club, guests are asked to pay £3 per playing session. The 'honesty' box can be found in the club house by the entrance.

HOW MANY HOURS CAN I BOOK A WEEK?

There is no stict limit on bookings. However, with respect to all other members, bookings should not exceed more than a few hours a week per member. Daily social tennis hours are open to all and no limit on attendance.

CAN I PLAY BEFORE 8.30AM?

Whilst the club cannot physically stop members and their guests from accessing the courts before 8.30am, the club politely requests that all members and guests not play before 8.30am, out of respect for nearby residents.

CAN I PLAY AFTER 10.00PM?

Whilst the club cannot physically stop members and their guests from accessing the courts beyond 10.00pm, the club asks all members and guests to stop playing at 10pm, out of respect for nearby residents. Floodlights, if in use, must also be turned off at 10pm ..

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY - CAN I BOOK A COURT JUST BEFORE I PLAY?

Yes you can book a court at short notice. Should you be booking all 3 courts for a large group, please book at least one hour in advance.

DO I HAVE TO BOOK?

No; all members and any accompanying guests are welcome to come down to the courts to play without booking ahead, however court availability is not guaranteed, and court priority is given to those who have booked ahead. As such, non-booking members are obliged to vacate a court upon request of an arriving booking party.

WHY ARE SOME AREAS BLOCKED IN EVERY WEEK?

On the Booking Sheets some times have been reserved for Adult and Junior Coaching and for adult social tennis. In the summer there will also be block bookings for specific events (like the Good Friday tournament), adult and junior team matches

WHAT OTHER TIMES ARE RESERVED?

Slots are reserved for social tennis, for club matches, for junior and senior training, for special club events such as open days and for league training. These are identified with coloured shading- no booking is allowed in these slots.

WHICH IS COURT 1, WHICH IS COURT 2 AND WHICH IS COURT 3?

Court 1 is the court closest to the club house; court 2 is the middle court and court 3 is the furthest from the clubhouse.

We have also recently added a column each day for our Pickleball court so you can now also book this.

WHO MAINTAINS THIS BOOKING SYSTEM?

The booking system is maintained by several club members; primarily Steve Garland. Recent updates to the booking form FAQs and formatting have been made by Sam Allan. Should you have any queries or problems regarding:

CAN I PLAY WHILST A MATCH IS ON?

Yes, if there is a court available. However the club encourages members to play outside of matchplay hours if possible, to minimise match disruptions.

Please don't book courts unless you are going to use them. Should you no longer be able to fulfill the booking, please remember to cancel the booking as soon as possible. Thank you.
