This guide will give you a visual guide on where to find every single hidden item in Final Fantasy Renaissance.

You must be playing on Renaissance mode in order to find these items and your lead must be a Thief or Ninja in order to find items.

The Search ability is their world ability, so if you don't have a Thief or if your Thief cannot currently be your lead, you will not find these items.

Some items found through Search are unique and cannot be found elsewhere.

Yes, the location of your Thief does matter. You can only grab some items from specific locations.

If you want to use the checklist, simply make a copy of this Google Doc for yourself. Use the Save as Google Sheets option or the checkboxes WILL break!

The order of locations is my personal recommendation of where you should go and when. If you want to take a different order, that is fine.

I recommend heading to Matoya's Cave as soon as you can leave Coneria, after defeating Garland.
I recommend heading from Pravoka to the Dwarf Cave as soon as you have the SHIP and then head to Elfland.
I recommend you visit Northwest Castle on your way to the Marsh Cave. There is a free armor upgrade there.
Once you have the MYSTIC KEY, I recommend you visit Dwarf Cave first to get your Thief a much needed Dragon Sword upgrade before heading back to the Marsh Cave.
I recommend heading to Titan's Tunnel as soon as you get to Melmond. There's a free Silver Bracelet to be found.
Once you get the free Silver Bracelet from Titan's Tunnel, head to Crescent Lake before you start Earth Cave. The trip is dangerous, but worthwhile.
Once you've finished the Earth Cave, head for Crescent Lake to claim the CANOE, but then make for Castle Ordeals. You can land using the river above it.
Once you finish Castle Ordeals, make for the Ice Cave. Getting the FLOATER will let you get your class advancements before Gurgu Volcano.
If you have a lot of money, head to the town of Gaia with your airship to purchase ProRings and Gold Bracelets.
I recommend you make for Waterfall Cave before you head for the Sea Shrine; the Defender is a great weapon for Ninja.
I recommend you do both the Sea Shrine in two visits; one heading down for the SLAB, then leave to restock before heading for Kraken.
I also recommend doing Mirage Tower and the Flying Castle in two visits, once fully clearing the tower and the second to beat the castle.
