The researcher must be employed by a Swedish university or a research institute during the project period. All forms of employment are permitted, ranging from temporary employment as postdoc or visiting professor to more permanent faculty positions. The researcher can apply for a maximum of 3 MSEK and the duration of the project can be up to 3 years. A letter of intent must be submitted by the Swedish host institution. The researcher must conduct strategic research within SSF’s areas: Natural Science, Engineering and Medicine. The grant will primarily go to the salary of the employee, but any surplus can also be used for, for example, travel, conferences or for consumables. An overhead cost of 35 percent on the direct costs is allowed. The application must be written in English and can be submitted throughout 2022! The project must start no later than 2023. And we give you support in integrating into life here. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds for relocation (but at the moment Ukrainian refugees can take trains for free in Germany and Austria.) I also have significant experience in the development of filtration facilities (fast filters, pressure and low-pressure filters and biofilters) with a filter load lighter than water based on expanded polystyrene granules. I have experience in developing technologies for water purification with high concentrations of radioactive isotopes Sr, Cs, U, etc., as well as other heavy metals and organic components characteristic of decontamination wash water.
