Even with the success Menomonee Falls had offensively, a masterful performance by southpaw Joey Spalding kept a talented Lancers' lineup quiet. Spalding went the distance on 87 pitches, scattering seven hits and allowing just one run in total, striking out two. 9 | Illinois-Chicago commit Vincent Gohlke continued his dominant start to the season with a shutout performance against West Allis Central. Gohlke got the start for the Vikings and in his five innings of work he struckout 14 and scattered just two hits. Gohlke was also a key contributor to this Viking offense as he collected three hits and drove in three runs. Myles Rewolinski has also started off the season hot and continued it in Wednesdays game. Rewolinski drove in a duo of runs while going 3-for-3 at the plate. With this win the Vikings move to 6-1 on the season and are looking to a two game series against No. 20 Pewaukee next week. | ||||

11 | Kaden Connor was masterfull in his start for Monona Grove on Wednesday. In his 5 2/3 innings, Connor allowed just one run on two hits while logging seven strikeouts to earn the win. Sam Baum came in for the final inning with a two-lead and did not allow a baserunner to earn the save. Offensively, Hayden Echols led this Silver Eagles lineup with two RBIs. Indian Triail only tallied three hits in the win, adding extra importance to Johnson's performance on the mound.
