Junior, Gavin Farnsworth got the start for Bay and twirled a shutout performance while allowing just three hits. On the offensive side of things the two Michigan commits on the team, Mitchell Voit and Jack Counsell hit back to back homeruns in the bottom of the first followed up by a single from Austin Weinke to go up 3-0. In the bottom of the second, Whitefish Bay put up four runs highlighted by a two-run homerun from Alabama commit JD Dix. In the third, Counsell struck again, this time with an RBI double. Eventually, the Blue Dukes logged ten runs on nine hits to lead them to yet another victory. | ||||

6 | Arrowhead came out with a win against a solid Mukwonago squad thanks to a three-run first inning. Connor Olson got the inning started with a RBI double which was followed up by RBI singles from Illinois State commit, James Duncan and Wisconsin-Parkside commit, Michael Zordani. Zordani continued his hot start to the season with his two RBI performance to pace this Arrowhead lineup. Upper Iowa commit, JJ Vargas showed off his two-way talents by going 1-for-3 at the plate and also getting the start. On the mound, Vargas logged 10 strikeouts while allowing two earned runs to earn the win. In relief, Arik Egerbrecht came in and struckout two in his two innings of work to earn the save. With this quality win, the Warhawks improve to 3-0 on the year. | ||||

8 | Once again, the senior tandem of Gavin Kilen and Alec Campbell powered the Red Hawks offensively in this ballgame, as the two reached base six times combined. Campbell was 3-for-3 with a solo homer; Kilen tripled, drove in a pair, and scored twice. Owen Holcomb and Ashton Goll added two RBIs each as well. Milton starter Michael Birkhimer allowed just one unearned run on three hits, two walks, in five otherwise shutdown innings. Fort's Dane Brost doubled in the loss. Milton is now 5-0 this spring, and they'll host Fort Akinson again on Thursday, with a doubleheader at home against Stoughton coming Saturday. | ||||

10 | From beginning to end, Kimberly was in control of this game. In the top of the first inning, the Papermakers put up four runs highlighted by a single from Carson Peeters that scored two runs. As the game went on the Kimberly bats continued to stay hot and were led by Brayden Pleau who drove in three RBIs. Also, Brandon Carew had a multi-hit game and drove in two runs from the leadoff spot. On the mound, Al Leitner earned the win during his five innings of work. Leitner tallied eight strikeouts while giving up three unearned runs on five hits. The aforementioned Carew came in for the final inning and logged two strikeouts and allowed just one hit. | ||||

12 | A big five-run first inning was too much for defending Division 1 state champions Sun Prairie to overcome in this Power 25 matchup against Janesville Craig. Leading this Craig offense was recent Future Game participant Jake Schaffner who finished 3-for-4 which including a bases-clearing triple. Patrick Schork, Devin Gudenschwager, Jack Ryan, Aiden Schenk and Jack Adams all contributed multi-hit performances to lead this high octane offense to the win. Schenk also picked up the win on the mound with his 5 2/3 inning performance in which he struck out five and allowed two earned runs. | ||||

14 | In only their second game of the season, Hortonville came out with the win against conference opponent, Oshkosh West. On the mound for Hortonville was Sam Dodd, who was spectacular in his start. Dodd twirled a complete game gem as he allowed only two hits, one walk and logged 12 strikeouts. Although we all know Thomas Burns as a pitcher, the Arizona State commit contributed for this Polar Bears squad offensively on Tuesday as he drove in two runs while going 1-for-3 at the plate. The duo of Easton Plachetka and Nate Vela each contributed multi-hit performances to pace this Hortonville lineup. After losing a tough one in their first game of the season, the Polar Bears bounced back for a solid team win to move to 1-1 on the season. | ||||

16 | Two Power 25 teams squared off in this marquee conference matchup. The first run of the day came from a home run in the second inning from sophomore Leo Lauscher to put the Old Abes up by one. In the third inning, Lauscher came back up to the plate and delivered a triple that scored two more runs to put Memorial up by three. After a sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth, things looked bleak for the Raiders as they were down four with four innings left to play. In the bottom of the fifth, the Hudson bats started to heat up as they scored one run on an error to cut the lead down to three. In the final inning with a three-run deficit, Hunter Carlson led off with a single and was then followed by a base on balls. With two runners on Dylan Lafaive drove both of them in with a single up the middle to cut the deficit down to just one, with two outs in the inning. Lafaive then tried to steal second but was thrown out by Memorial catcher Willy Thibodeau to end the game and seal the Power 25 upset win for Eau Claire Memorial. | ||||

20 | Some late game heroics sealed the upset victory for Edgerton over No. 14 Beloit Turner. After allowing two runs in the first inning, starting pitcher settled in for Edgerton. Lee nearly went the distance, and was immaculate in his 6 1/3 innings of work, allowing two unearned runs while logging nine strikeouts. In the fourth inning, Carson Dupuis smoked a two-run homerun to tie the game at two. Neither team could get anything going at the plate until the sixth inning where after a walk and single, S Olson hit a sacrifice fly to give Edgerton the lead. Lee came back out and sat down the Turner lineup but was taken out due to his high pitch count in the final inning. Which led to Justin Clark coming in for the final two outs of the game and he shut the door, handing Beloit Turner their first loss of the season. Meanwhile, Edgerton remains undefeated at 5-0 overall, already labeled a 'Bubble' team with a genuine shot at reaching the Power 25 if they can continue the week strong, starting with a rematch hosting Turner on Thursday, with Evansville and Brodhead on Friday and Saturday. | ||||

22 | In their first game being inside our Power 25 rankings, No. 16 Union Grove lost a tough one to Burlington. In this back-and-forth game Burlington was led by Connor O'Reilly who exploded for six RBIs while going 3-for-4 at the plate and included a pair of home runs, one of them being a grand slam. The duo of Wren Dietz who also homered in the game, and Ryan Dummer each drove in two RBIs of their own to lead this Demon squad to victory. Although they did lose, Union Grove did have a few bright spots. One of them being a four RBI day from Nathan Williams, three of them coming on a three run homerun in the third. But it was not enough as Burlington came out on top in this slugfest and gave us yet another Power 25 upset. | ||||

24 | The Lasers defeated conference opponent and Power 25 member, Muskego, backed by an outstanding performance on the mound. Daniel Heikkinen got the start for Kettle Moraine and was dominant. Heikkinen went all seven innings and allowed just two hits while tallying 12 strikeouts to shut down a talented Muskego lineup. Leading the offense for the Lasers was Nolan Schopp who contributed a multi-hit game and two RBIs. JJ Wolbert and Jonah Roloff also pitched in an RBI each to help lead this Laser squad to victory and hand Muskego their third loss of the year. | ||||

26 | On Tuesday, two Power 25 members and two rivals went head to head for some must-see Southern Lakes Conference action. Westosha Central was one of the newest teams inside of our Power 25 due to their undefeated start to the season. On Tuesday, Waterford handed Westosha their first loss of the season thanks to a seven-run fifth inning. Leading this offense to the win was Brock Malecki with three RBIs, all coming on a huge double that scored three. Garrett Kay has continued his hot start to the season with a 3-for-4 performance which included two hard hit doubles as well as two RBIs. The freshman Connor Harvie also contributed two RBIs to pace this Wolverine lineup. On the mound, Arkansas commit Dylan Questad got his first start of the season and was solid in his three innings of work, allowing just one earned run on zero hits and striking out four. Tyler Lusic came in for the final four innings and was equally impressive as he also allowed just one earned run while scattering just three hits. Although they dealt with a tough loss, Westosha did have some bright spots throughout the game. Wichita State commit Michael Mulhollon got the nod for Westosha and in his 4 ⅓ innings of work he struck out seven and allowed four earned runs on four hits. Offensively, Nick Argersinger looked good at the plate as he smoked a double to the opposite field. The trio of Jack Rose, Dakota Veium and Joey Pflug each contributed an RBI in the loss. This rivalry game definitely did not disappoint as Waterford handed Westosha Central their first loss of season. | ||||

28 | After a couple of tough losses, it seems that No. 21 Pewaukee is starting to figure it out as they cruised to a win over Pius XI. Leading this offense was Wisconsin-Milwaukee commit Carson Hansen who contributed two RBIs while going 3-for-4 at the plate. Out of the three hole, starting pitcher Nick Doubek had a multi-hit game, going 2-for-3 and also drove in two runs in the contest. On the mound Doubek was equally dominant. In his five innings of work, Doubek allowed one earned run on two hits, while striking out 10 to earn the win. Ryan Sopha came out of the 'pen in relief and in his two innings of work he tallied five strikeouts while scattering just two hits. This Pewaukee squad has dealt with some adversity early into the season, but with talent riddled throughout the roster, it is seeming like they are getting over the hump with a bulk of their schedule left to play. | ||||

30 | Brookfield Academy spoiled University Schools first game inside our Power 25 rankings with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. Two Brookfield Academy pitchers combined for a one hit shutout against a solid University School lineup. Michael Hoefgen got things started on the mound and was dominant in his 5 2/3 innings of work as he tallied nine strikeouts while allowing just one hit. Hoefgen was eventually taken out due to his pitch count which led to Alex Star coming in for the final 1 1/3 innings and he did not allow a baserunner while logging one strikeout. Star also drove in the lone run of the contest in the first inning on a single. For University School, James Reese and Jason Adix combined for a quality pitching performance as they combined to allow just the one run. The one run was enough though as Brookfield Academy took down one of the newest Power 25 teams in the close contest. | ||||

32 | In this cross town rivalry, Brookfield Central came away with the win despite a three run deficit. With two talented arms on the hill for each team, Milwaukee School of Engineering commit Luke Langjahr for Central and Illinois-Chicago commit Ryan Karst for East, there was only one hit allowed combined in the first four innings of the game. Then this East lineup got three on the board but that was all that Langjahr would allow. The Lancers then started to heat up offensively as they put up six runs to respond to East, highlighted by a RBI single from Forest Hipp. Langjahr then settled in for yet another quality outing on the mound. In his six innings of work, Langjahr allowed one earned run on two hits and tallied five strikeouts. Recent Future Games participant, Noah Dreier, would come in for the final inning and shut the door, giving Brookfield Central the win in this conference rivalry. | ||||
