4 | Despite allowing a five-run inning, Whitefish Bay came away as winners in their North Shore Conference matchup against West Bend East. After grabbing a early three-run lead, the Suns put up a five spot to go up by two. The Blue Dukes quickly answered with two runs to tie it. After allowing one more run, Whitefish put up six runs of their own to put the game out of reach for West Bend. On the mound, Michael Lippe earned the win after coming out the 'pen in relief. In his 4 1/3 innings, the Louisville commit struck out 11 while allowing just one hit. Mitch Voit continued his stellar play with a 2-for-3 performance at the plate, which included a home run, bringing him to three on the year. Just a couple days off from throwing a no-hitter, DJ Kojis contributed on the offensive side of things with one hit and two RBIs. The duo of Austin Wienke and JD Dix each drove in a run in the win as well. With this win Whitefish Bay moves to 9-0 on the season. | ||||

6 | JJ Vargas and Arik Egerbrecht combined to pitch a shutout in Arrowheads matchup against Waukesha South. Vargas got things going on the mound and in his five innings, he struck out 10 batters while scattering just two hits. Egerbrecht came in on relief and in the final two innings of the game, he logged five strikeouts and allowed just one hit. On the offensive side of things, Jacob Stevens drove in a team high two runs while going one-for-one at the plate. The middle of this Warhawk lineup, Michael Zordani, James Duncan, and Will Hess each drove in a run to pace this lineup. | ||||

8 | Middleton upset No. 3 Milton backed by a shut-out performance from Easton Zempel. The Winona State commit struck out nine and scattered just four hits in his complete game shutout performance against a talented Milton lineup. Three errors coupled with some clutch hits from Preston Roelle and Caden Gmur would eventually seal Milton's fate as Middleton came out with the win, giving Milton their first loss of the season. | ||||

The Madison College commit has been spectacular in his handful of appearances this spring and Monday's game was no different. In his start, Leitner allowed just two hits while also tallying eight strikeouts en route to the win. Another Madison College commit, Collin Obermann led the charge offensively for this Papermakers squad while going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and also collecting two stolen bases in the contest. Brayden Pleau and Josh Bailey each picked up two hits with Pleau also driving in a run. | ||||

12 | Janesville Craig pitching staff has been their calling card throughout the season and Monday's matchup was no different. Aiden Schenk got the start for Craig and he dominated as he did not allow a run and fanned four in his 6 1/3 innings of work. With no runs on the board for either team, a big two-out rally from Craig led them to the finish line. In that inning Jack Ryan smacked in the first run of the game. Ryan's RBI single was followed up by a pair of RBIs singles from Jake Schaffner and Patrick Schork that busted the game open, leading to Craig's seventh win of the season. | ||||

14 | A five-run fourth eventually led to Eau Claire North to the win over New Richmond on Monday. In that inning, C Bakkum got things started for the Huskies with a leadoff single and after two HBPs and an error, Bakkum came around to score to break the one-to-one tie. The Huskies really broke the game open with singles from J Kein and G Richardson that each plated two, making the score 6-1. Eau Claire North did not have much to worry about as Drew Wathke and the aforementioned Bakkum shut the game down for the final two innings, giving the Huskies their fourth win of season. | ||||

16 | Oak Creek avoided the upset despite being down by eight runs in the bottom of the sixth. Pius came out firing as they put up nine runs in the first three innings of the contest. After getting two more later on, things looked bleak for Oak Creek as they had some major work to do to get back into this game. In the final two innings, the Knights put up nine runs and would eventually win on a walk-off single from Ryan Santi. Some other top performers from this game was Luke Klekamp who collected four hits in as many plate appearances. The duo of Evan Calderon and Nathan Hanel each collected three RBIs while going 3-for-4 at the plate in the win as well. | ||||

18 | From beginning to end, this game was all Waterford as they cruised to a 10 to nothing win over Elkhorn on Monday. Leading the charge offensively for the Wolverines was Calvin Hancock who drove in four runs while going 2-for-4 at the plate. Batting right before Hancock in the lineup was Dean Buse who also had a quality day at the plate, collecting one hit and driving in two runs. From the leadoff spot Garrett Kay did exactly what he was supposed to, get on and score. Despite only collecting one hit, Kay reached base three times and he scored each time he was on. Tyler Lusic got the start for Waterford and he was spectacular in his 6+ innings of work where he struck out eight and scattered four hits. Another quality win for this Waterford squad who recently moved up in our Power 25 rankings. | ||||

20 | Sun Prairie sophomore Sam Ostrenga and senior shortstop Davis Hamilton each recorded three hits and drove in a combined seven runs in the Cardinals' 15-5 victory on Monday. Ostrenga doubled, as did his senior brother Addison, who also drove in two runs himself; Hamilton doubled and tripled which resulted in his four RBIs. Zach Brzezinski pitched all six innings and allowed five runs, though only two were earned, and he struck out seven batters with no walks. Watertown shortstop Ayden Schauer led the Goslings offensively by going 3-for-3 with two runs scored; senior John Clifford, a Wisconsin football recruit, launched a pinch-hit homer in the loss. | ||||

22 | In this tight contest, No. 17 Westosha came out on top against Burlington on Monday. In this high scoring affair, the first four in of Westosha's lineup combined for eight RBIs. At the leadoff spot, Seth Brankey hit in three runs while also going 3-for-4 at the plate. In the three spot, Nick Argersinger plated two RBIs of his own. Out of the two hole, Joey Pflug hit in two runs which were two of the biggest runs of the game. In the bottom of the seventh inning with Westosha Central down by one, Pflug came up with runners on second and third. He then roped a single to center field to score both runs and give Westosha Central their ninth win in dramatic fashion. | ||||

In his six innings, Hansche sat punched out seven while allowing just one run on four hits. At the plate the top of this Union Grove order combined for 10 of their 11 runs. Out of the leadoff spot, Owen Nowak collected four hit in as many plate appearances and drove in three runs. Landon Dessart also logged a multi-hit game while driving in two RBIs of his own. Tyler Deleskiewicz got things started on the mound and carved through the Wilmot lineup, tallying 13 strikeouts in his six innings of work. The only blemish on his stat line was a home run from Wilmot's Marco Falletti in the fourth inning. After Deleskiewicz day was done, Sam Polyock came in for the final inning and got his three outs in just 11 pitches to earn the save. Offensively, this Badger lineup was lead by Wade Blakeley who hit a two-RBI single in the fourth inning to put Badger up three. Crete Slattery and Lex Dupee also collected multi-hit games while driving in two runs apiece in the win. | ||||
