| No. 22 Medford | 2 | No. 1 Whitefish Bay | 16 | MORE |
| During the PBR HS Invitational at The Rock, No. 1 Whitefish Bay took on No. 22 Medford in this Power 25 matchup. The Blue Dukes kept up their hitting ways as they pounded out 16 runs on 15 hits on Saturday. Leading the offensive attack was Louisville commit Michael Lippe who drove in five RBIs and went a perfect 4-for-4 highlighted by a inside-the-park homerun which scored two. Caleb Bowers also contributed three RBIs on three hits. The two Michigan commits on this Whitefish Bay squad, Jack Counsell and Mitch Voit, each drove in a run as well. This great offensive performance was coupled with a strong performance on the mound from a trio of Blue Duke arms. The aforementioned Lippe got the start and in his three innings of work he gave up two earned runs on four hits while tallying four strikeouts. The duo of Andrew Fassbender and Sean Callahan each pitched an inning to close the game off, allowing just one hit combined. Yet another dominant win for this Blue Duke squad over a talented Medford team.
| No. 9 Oak Creek | 12 | No. 4 Kimberly | 7 | MORE |
| A seven-run fourth for Oak Creek was eventually enough as they took down Power 25 member Kimberly. William Hyland got the start for Oak Creek and in 4 1/3 innings of work he struck out four, eventually picking up the win as well. In relief, sophomore Brayden Rohde came in and was solid in his 2 2/3 innings and included two strikeouts. Freshman Nate Schopf continued his hot start at the plate as he drove in two RBIs to pace this Oak Creek lineup. With this upset win, Oak Creek moves to 3-1 early into the 2022 season.
| No. 6 Milton | 12 | Elkhorn Area | 3
| Milton was finally able to play its first game in 10 days, and the offense didn't miss a beat, as they recorded 16 hits against some talented Elkhorn arms. We anticipated seniors Gavin Kilen and Alec Campbell would combine for one of, if not the, most impactful combos in the center of any order in the state, and they combined for a 6-for-7 day at the plate on Saturday and five RBIs. Kilen tripled, walked once, and recorded two sac flies to contribute to Milton's high-powered offense. Campbell, meanwhile, notched four singles that generated three RBIs, two runs scored. Jack Campion was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Lead-off hitter Braylen Vande Berg was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Elkhorn catcher Matt Loughney was 4-for-4 with an RBI in the loss.
| Whitnall | 4 | No. 7 Pewaukee | 12 | MORE |
| The Pirates cruised to a 12-4 win over Whitnall on Saturday backed by a three RBI day from Drew Dobberstein and a 4-for-4 day from Carson Hansen. A five run second inning, highlighted by a two RBI double from Logan Dobberstein, would be the deciding factor in this contest thanks to some solid performances on the mound. Owen Dobberstein got the nod for Pewaukee and in his 4 1/3 innings of work he tallied five strikeouts. Recent Future Game participant and Alabama-Birmingham commit Gavyn Bowen came in on relief and logged five strikeouts in his 2 2/3 innings of work. Despite a slow start to the season this Pirate squad seems to be heating up as they beat three Power 25 teams and improve to 5-3 on the season.
| Marshfield | 3 | No. 15 Hudson | 21 | MORE |
| Marshfield | 0 | No. 15 Hudson | 4 | MORE |
| No. 15 Hudson cruised to a 21-3 win over Marshfield in the first game of a doubleheader led by five RBIs by Jake Busson. For a full look into Hudson’s stats click here. The second game of the double-header was a lot closer than the first. The pitching in this game was solid as three pitchers combined for the shutout victory. Owen Weadge, a St. Cloud State commit got the start for Hudson and twirled a gem in his 5 ⅓ innings of work as he scattered four hits and struck out 10 opposing batters. Will Haverly and Bradyn Bezanson combined to pitch the final 1 ⅔ innings and shut the door down for this Hudson squad. Offensively, Jake Busson paced this team with one RBI on a double in the third inning. With this doubleheader sweep, the Raiders improve to 5-0 on the season.
| No. 17 Waterford Union | 11 | Cudahy | 5
| Eight runs in the first two innings set the tone for Waterford on Saturday, as part of the PBR Wisconsin High School Invitational, and junior Garrett Kay showed off his compact left-handed swing on repeat, launching two doubles from the top of the order, looking like one of the top uncommitted left-handed hitters in the state's Class of 2023. Waterford's Jack Krueger and Max Northrup each doubled twice as well; Krueger was 3-for-4 on the day and drove in three runs himself, both of which were game-highs. Dean Buse also doubled and drove in a run. For Cudahy, lead-off hitter Josh Pettke was 2-for-4 with an RBI; Max Sysavan was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
| No. 22 Medford | 6 | No. 18 Muskego | 7 | MORE |
| In what was, possibly, the game of the weekend at the PBR Wisconsin High School Invitational, Medford made the 230-plus mile trip to The Rock Complex to play its first game against Classic Eight heavyweight Muskego. The Warriors got on the board straightaway, following a triple delivered by sophomore Brock Lulewicz, who scored on Ashton Kampa's line-drive single to center to make it 1-0 quickly. Medford junior starter Logan Baumgartner would settle in from there, and the Raiders rallied back to take the lead in the second inning from RBI singles by Aidan Gardner and Parker Lissner. The score was stuck at 2-1 all the way into the sixth when Lulewicz, again, connected for a lead-off solo homer into his opposite gap. Kampa singled again right after him and junior Sam Steuber crushed a go-ahead two-run shot to dead center to make it 4-2. Muskego added a fifth run on a sac fly later in the frame, but Medford was prepared to rally again. Caleb Guden and Gardner helped load the bases with singles, and no outs, but Muskego was able to limit the damage, somewhat, as an RBI groundout and bases loaded hit by pitch brought the Raiders back within a run, 5-4. In the seventh, it was Lulewicz yet again who pulled a ball into the right first corner to drive in his second run of the game on his fourth hit, giving Muskego some breathing room, which turned out to be much needed. With one out, senior Air Force recruit Caleb Guden reminded us of his skill set after he launched a no-doubt solo homer to dead center to bring Medford within two runs again. A hit by pitch put the tying run at the plate, and after a punch-out by reliever Zach Olson, a recent Hawaii commit, Braxton Weissmiller's third hit of the day scored Medford's sixth run, but the rally ended there, handing Muskego the narrow win in the process.
| No. 25 New Berlin West | 8 | Oshkosh North | 5 | MORE |
| The Vikings won a competitive ballgame at The Rock Complex as part of the PBR Wisconsin High School Invitational, and mustered a seventh-inning rally to pull three runs ahead during a cold Saturday evening. New Berlin West used walks and timely hitting to take a 4-0 lead after their first two turns at the plate, featuring a two-run single by Myles Rewolinski, a sac fly by Daniel Kibler, and a two-out triple by his older brother Dominic Kibler, the catcher and Kent State commit. But Oshkosh North retaliated right away, taking the lead in the bottom of the second after a two-run single by sophomore Colton Angell tied it, 4-4, and Max Bittner stayed hot with a two-out drive into the right field corner that scored the go-ahead run from first. Another sac fly by Daniel Kibler in the fourth re-tied the game, 5-5, and West's relievers Jarien Jones and eventually Rocco Conrad proved effective as they prevented the Spartans from scoring again. Meanwhile, North lefty reliever Jack Kese was cruising, too, and West wasn't able to crack him until his fourth inning of work, the top of the seventh frame. After a lead-off walk, senior Vincent Gohlke lined a double into the right-center gap that put runners on second and third with only one out. Rewolinski, up again in a key moment, found himself in a 1-2 count and fouled off four straight pitches before spraying a single into shallow right that scored one. Daniel Kibler was at the center of things again when his flare down the left field line landed just fair, scoring a pair more, gaining his team an 8-5 lead in the process. Oshkosh North rallied in the seventh with two outs, bringing the tying run to the plate, but freshman Rocco Conrad locked it down from there. He pitched 1.2 innings of relief that followed Jones' 3.2 scoreless innings out of the 'pen which helped NBW keep up with Kese's relief work on the opposite side, who struck out nine in 4.1 innings.

| The Spartans took home the win in their first game of the day at the PBR Wisconsin High School Invitational, getting out to a large 8-0 lead early. Max Bittner had a loud day at the plate, and it began with a two-run single in the second that sparked North offensively. In the third, the Spartans loaded the bases and three walks plated three more runs. West De Pere's Wyatt DeSmidt helped cut into their deficit with a two-run single in the third; he would later double and drive in another run. WDP's Thomas Walder was 2-for-4 with a double from the lead-off spot. North's sophomore starter Colton Angell struck out five in four frames though six walks cut his outing short. Reliever Jeremiah Housworth struck out six in three innings and allowed two unearned runs on three hits, no walks, to carry them to the win, ultimately.

The offense for this Wisconsin Lutheran team was also solid as they put up eight runs in the contest highlighted by home runs by Jaxon Raabe and Ryder Derouin. 26 | In the final game of the PBR at The Rock High School invitational, St. Thomas More cruised to a win over West De Pere backed by a strong outing from Elijah Niemiec. The righty started on the mound for the Cavalier's and was outstanding in his five innings of work. 27 | Burlington | 8 | Jefferson | 4 | MORE |
| Despite being down early, Burlington battled back for the win against a solid Jefferson squad. After allowing two runs in the first, Ethan Daubner smoked a single that scored two and tie the game at two. Jefferson then scored one of their own to go up by one but then it was all Burlington from there. The Demons scored three runs in the bottom of the third to go up by two runs, highlighted by a single by Zayne Koehnke that scored one. The duo of Ryan Dummer and Gage Taylor each contributed an RBI apiece to pace this Viking lineup. On the mound, the aforementioned Daubner got the nod and was solid in his six innings of work which included 11 strikeouts.
| Burlington | 1 | Appleton North | 2
| The Lightning won both its games Saturday to get to 4-1 on the year. Senior Nathan Schopf led North with a pair of doubles, the first of which drove in the game's first run in the bottom of the first inning. Burlington evened the score on an RBI groundout in the fourth, and Appleton North loaded the bases in the fifth and scored its go-ahead run on passed ball, and reliever Ben Isom pitched the final three scoreless to lock down the win. Starter Brock Ver Voort allowed just one run on one hit and he struck out four.
| Appleton North | 4 | Jefferson | 3
| North won its second game of the day, again by the margin of one, but in much more dramatic fashion. Down 3-0 in the top of the seventh, junior Garrett Hietpas doubled home his team's first run and he scored their second on an error. After doubling twice in the game prior, Nathan Schopf connected for another double to center that scored the tying and go-ahead runs for the Lightning. Senior Griffin Smith struck out the side in the seventh to clinch the come-from-behind win for Appleton North. Jefferson's Tyler Butina was overwhelming in his start, as he pitched through six scoreless frames before North's rally assisted by two errors. Naturally, Butina also added a pair of hits in the ballgame, before being dealt the hard-luck loss.

Charlie Cefalu came in on relief and in his three innings of work he earned the win thanks to some late game heroics on the offensive side. In the final inning of the game Shay Harwood smacked a two out, two RBI single to tie the game up. With Harwood on base, Connor Loomans came up to the plate and delivered the walk-off hit to give New Berlin Eisenhower the doubleheader sweep of Baraboo.
