1	Getting More Out Of Life

4	Sue:	I need to get a lot of changes made and maybe take a vacation.
5		I've gotten really depressed!
6	Ms. Jinn:	Have you got a lot of vacation hours built up?
7		We have a big selection of get-aways.
8		But if you want to get to the bottom of your problems we also have a lot of opportunities for workshops and counseling.
9	Sue:	I have to get over a bad breakup and get on with my life.
10		So the workshops and counselling sound good.
11		I also need to get more confidence and get farther along in my profession.
12		I do get a lot of satisfaction from my job but I don't get paid much.
13	Ms. Jinn:	I'm sure we've got products which will help.
14		Give me a moment to get into our computer inventory.
15		Ah! Here's a support group for newly single people that gets together on Friday evenings. Since you are such a good customer you get it for free.
16	Sue:	That sounds perfect! Friday nights get tough when you're alone! I need to get out the door and get acquainted with some new people.
17	Ms. Jinn:	Here's the address. You can get going with them this week!
18		Let's see what else I've got.
19		Here's a free Facebook group for people in your line of work.
20	Sue:	Great! I've gotten out of touch with people in my profession since getting out of school. Now that I've got some experience I can give advice as well as get it. And I need to get the latest industry news!
21	Ms. Jinn:	Now lets get some vacation ideas.

1	Getting a Vacation
2	Starring: Sue (Customer) and Ms. Jinn (Sales)

4	Sue:	I'd like to get a vacation lasting two weeks.
5		I've got only 10 days vacation time built up at work.
6		But if I start vacation on a Saturday and come back on a Sunday that gets me 2 full weeks, 14 days.
7		And also, I might take vacation over the Memorial Day weekend or the Labor Day weekend. Employees get off on those, two, national holidays.
8	Ms. Jinn:	In that case, you could come back on a Monday, rather than Sunday, and get 15, full days of vacation!
9		But we need to get going on the plans right now because those travel dates get booked up fast!
10	Sue:	OK. Let's get started with the 2 weeks before and after the Memorial Day Weekend!
11		I'd like to get on a train and take a leisurely trip around the Rockies, getting off and back on at interesting places.
12		You meet so many interesting people on a train trip! And I get along with strangers just fine.
13		That should get me relaxed and cheered up.
14		And I'll get home in time for the summer rush at work which really gets rolling mid-June!
15	Ms. Jinn:	Look at this train schedule! Here are many packages departing from, and returning to, Union Station in Denver.
16		Can you get by just sleeping in a seat? Bedrooms are more expensive!
17	Sue: (pointing)	I like this package. Its got a roomette, but you get meals included and I've got money saved up. So it's within my budget.
18		Getting back, it gets in early on a Monday; so I'll have the rest of the day to get laundry done and get rested up before getting back to work on Tuesday. And no worries if the train is late! It's the perfect get-away!
