Any major administrative disciplinary referrals for the previous school year resulting in suspension or worse
More than 2 unexcused absences for the current school year at the time of selection
Any “Incompletes” in the gradebook at the time of selection

Students should bring in apple sauce and fruit cups to their 5TH PERIOD class starting Monday, September 16th. The period with the most donations by Friday, September 20th will win a pizza party, courtesy of Cooper CAN. This optional two-hour standardized assessment is how the National Merit Scholarship nominees are selected. By taking this important assessment in your 9th and 10th grade years, it is a great practice for when it really counts as an 11th grader.
