Leadoff man Owen Nowak has started his varsity career off with a noticeable spark, as the left-handed-hitting sophomore had another three-hit day on Monday afternoon. Jacob Moore, Remmi Sweet, and Tommy Pinnow all homered, with the latter crushing a grand slam in the third inning. 6 | Menomonee Falls kept their win streak to start the season alive after surviving a late rally by the Hilltoppers. Following a walk in the ninth inning, Joe Jarecki tripled and later came around to score on a Max Stocco RBI groundout to bring the game within two runs before sophomore Zach Wolfram closed the door on back-to-back strikeouts. Leadoff man Luke Nowak went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two stolen bases for the Phoenix, whlie Billy Howard drove in three runs on two hits. | ||||

8 | The Sabers are starting to shake off some early season rust and return to form. Eight runs were scored on nine hits from the Sabers, including two hits from Max Semancik and three from Dyson Klubertanz. Sophomore Boston Halloran also doubled and he's recorded a hit in each game thus far for the Sabers. Freshman Grayson Flugaur entered the game out of the 'pen and allowed one run in three quality innings of work, striking out two batters. | ||||

11 | The Pointers remain among the hottest offenses in the state, scoring another double-digit total with the help of the 1-2 hitters Dominik McVay and Liam Stumpf. Both batters collected three hits each and drove in a pair; McVay doubled and Stumpf tripled. Brendan Lynch was 2-for-2 with four RBIs, a game high. Josh Filardo reached in all four plate appearances, and he scored three runs. | ||||

13 | Senior LHP Jared Lessman turned in yet another dominant outing on Monday, striking out nine of the 11 batters he faced in three scoreless innnings pitched. He was relieved by Dylan Smith for the final two frames, who went on to strike out five more, allowing only one hit. Offensively, the Saints were motored by Payton Christenson, who went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs. Lead-off man and sophomore Brayden Olson doubled and drove in another pair to keep up a hot start. Adrian Scott reached in all four plate appearances, with a double, two walks, and three runs scored. 15 | The Bulldogs continue to solidify themselves as one of the state favorites for the D4 title and their offense appeared to be firing on all cylinders Monday afternoon. Indiana State commit Trett Joles led Boyceville's offense with seven RBIs on two hits, including a double and home run. Jacob Granely finished one RBI shy of Joles for the team lead on the day and he, like Joles, also homered and doubled. Walker Retz homered as well, while two-hole hitter Connor Sempf tallied three hits in the game. Trevor Hollister toed the rubber for Boyceville, striking out nine batters on 64 pitches in nine innings and gave up one earned run. | ||||

17 | Extra innings were required in this back-and-forth battle. Tied entering the bottom of the sixth, Osseo added three to separate themselves, but River Falls rallied all the way back in the top of the seventh on a dramatic two-out three-run home run off the bat of Cole Evavold. River Falls were also aided offensively by senior Jaden Schwantz, who went 2-for-2 with a double, three runs scored, and two RBIs, as well as junior Ragan Pinnow, who was 2-for-4 with an RBI. | ||||
