We apologise for some high emotions in that game, but we appreciate your attitude and quality of play did not falter. There was some inconsistencies in foul calls whereby we believe you called a lot of fouls (quite rightly, thank you for calling us out), however you would give the same back and it was discussed more in your favour. We did not want to mark you down for this because I (spirit captain) did not get a chance to communicate this with your spirit captain. There was one incident, which upon reflection, was a dangerous play but again it was not called at the time. As the player was running to catch the disc they saw a GU player moving into their path towards the disc and as a result hesitated in catching the disc to avoid contact/collision, despite having rightful position for the disc. The player felt that they should not have to alter their position for the disc because a defender sprinting into their direct path that would have led to a collision, but only came to this conclusion long after the play occured.

Some very positive interactions on and off pitch but a few edge down spikes - though understandable after hyping back up after there game against reading. Good calls on and off pitch with polite clear communication and talking about spirit off pitch which was excellent, a little work needed on hand signals to communicate calls I.e gender ratio, and keeping to time limits. A very positive game all round.
