There are times when a sober or not-sober space is the central point or necessary part of an event/gathering; and there are ways to have those spaces without treating each other like we're enemies. As a sober person, i feel strongly about this way of approaching alcohol and drug use / not-use / occasional-use in auditing spaces for access; it's central to auditing access without employing moralistic frameworks which already shut out too many people.
