55	Future Leaders of America East Bay Area Inc. (East Bay)	FLA East Bay started in 1991 serving hundreds of students. Our board of directors and staff are all volunteers most of which are alumni of the program. All of our programming is free to youth and families and is made possible by donations and grants from businesses and local foundations. Our Level 1 programming is open to all youth going into the 9th or 10th grade in the Bay area and consists of a weeklong summer conference in South Lake Tahoe where we teach the importance of education, cultural pride, community service and leadership skills. Once Level 1 is completed, the students are eligible for Level 2 programming. We facilitate a Fall and Spring College seminar including a tour of a local college or university, information on financial aid and a student panel to ask questions about college life.
