|10/19/2020||Let’s talk about social distancing. While you are at school, you need to remain at least 6 feet from any other students when your mask is off. This includes while you are eating and during any mask breaks that you take during the day. When you are outside, you can be closer than 6 feet as long as you are masked. Here is an example of what 6 feet looks like outside:|

|11/12/2020||DMS Student Maddox M. is organizing a shoe drive to benefit the Hays CISD Clothes Closet. The Clothes Closet provides clothes for families in our school district. They are in great need of shoes in all sizes, men's, women's and kid's. Please donate if you can. There will be a drop box near the front office to place your donations.|
|11/12/2020||Advanced Band Rehearsals start next week from 4:00-4:45PM. These rehearsals will help us prepare for the Winter Concert on Saturday, December 12th. Monday is Symphonic Band with Spencer. Tuesday is Wind Ensemble with Janek. Wednesday is Concert Band with Land. Thursday is Jazz Band with Spencer and Land. See you there!|
|11/13/2020||CHEER NEWS: 8th grade Cheer will have their last Football game on Tuesday, November 17th. BOTH teams will Cheer for the A team game at 6:45. Cheerleaders need to be at Johnson by 5:15 for the B team scrimmage. We will practice during the scrimmage for the A team game!|
|11/16/2020||On Friday, November 20, bring your markers, colors, stickers, cutouts, scissors, glue, sports team logo stickers, pictures of your favorite people, places or things. Anything that brings you joy that can be attached to your sneeze guard. You will be decorating your sneeze guard on Friday in Advisory. (Please share this announcement Monday through Thursday.)|

We are incredibly proud of all the hard work our student athletes, parents and coaches put into the season. We are thankful for our student athletes, parents, coaching staff, Dahlstrom office staff and school administration for all of the support and patience throughout the season.

|2/5/2021||The Ultimate Valentine's Day Scavenger is happening this week. Look for QR codes to join in on the fun and win prizes! Look for red hearts placed around the school and follow the instructions on the scavenger hunt to win. Prizes include Valentine's Day candy, money at the snack shack, and free points in your science class!!|

|4/4/21||Attention Mustangs! If you have not participated in our M3 Mustang's Mastering Math Competition, it is not too late! Students can earn entries every week for the end of competition raffle each time they place on the weekly lists for completing the most lessons for the week. Advisory teachers earn points each time any of their students place on the lists. Top Advisory teachers will be awarded with an end of competition prize as well.
