Everyday, try to practice being Thankful and being Kind to your family members and to people that you meet out and about that are friends or random strangers. This builds great Character!	Examples for being Thankful and Kind: say Thank You, say Please, open the door for someone, SMILE, do a chore without being asked, pick up your mess without being asked, share your toys with your siblings, ask mom or dad if they need help doing something, etc. Those are just some easy examples, I'm sure you can come up with some other great ideas!

We have so much to be thankful for even in this weird situation.	I would like you to make a daily goal to say Thank You to at least 1 person a day: mom, dad, sister, brother, or whomever. If 1 a day is too easy, make a goal to say Thank You at least 3 times or more, you decide. When you say Thank You to people, it shows you have Good Character!

10	March 23rd - continuous		Busby@ebs.k12.mo.us	Stay Safe and Healthy	Please remember to practice recommended guidelines like washing your hands, covering a cough, social distancing, etc.	Practice safe handwashing by saying your ABC's or sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Practice covering your cough or sneezes inside your elbow or with a tissue. Practice social distancing by writing letters, sending an email, or calling your loved ones and friends on the phone. Also, practice NOT putting anything in your mouth that isn't food! Yuck!
