An infield single from Owen Duffy and a hit by pitch to Frankie Bilecki loaded the bases for Quinn Duffy who drew a walk to bring home the first run of the game. Before the inning ended, another runner scored off a throwing error from the catcher to make it 2-0. The following inning, Marist added three runs to make the score 5-0.
