His fastball reached as high as 98 mph, sitting at 95-97 mph early, while settling in at 93-96 mph as he went on. He spun a powerful slider with late lateral action at 81-84 mph, landing it for strikes and also throwing it to the glove-side corner for whiffs. Aside from his work on the mound, Wolters blasted two home runs, including a grand slam, and led the Bulldogs' with five RBIs on the day. It was a truly stellar performance from Mahomet-Seymour's star talent. For Mahomet, Carter Selk (2023; Quincy) doubled and finished with two hits, bringing a run home early in the contest.
