I mostly create my own lessons, which are aimed to bring relevant topics to the language classes. This way, I intend that my students develop the critical thinking, while learning a new language in a creative way. Once I have used these materials in class, I share it with my closest colleagues, and in web platforms, like FLLITE. I also adapt existing OERs, since there is a huge amount of interesting materials available online.

At this moment I am working with some colleagues in a project that deepen in current perspectives in language teaching, and its practical developments. We are using an interdisciplinary approach, in order to place the language within a wide spectrum of knowledge. Thus, I am creating lessons and excercises that give students the opportunity to debate different topics, through the use of literary texts, and audivisual material, among other resources.

The most that I like about OER is the availability of so many resources just a click of distance, and the space it provides for professionals to exchange and interact regarding the teaching experience. But above all, it contributes to stimulate a sense of community, which I consider is crucial in the teaching profession, one of the main pillars of any society.
