Google responded by saying search results can change by the minute and sometimes even by the second, especially for news topics. Google also says that personalization is done on only a fraction of the total number of search queries, and location and recent queries are often used to help understand the context for a search. However, Google says that it doesn't personalize results for incognito searches using signed-in search history.||https://www.theverge.com/2018/12/4/18124718/google-search-results-personalized-unique-duckduckgo-filter-bubble|

|I work at one of Australia's largest department store chains. Among our many other lines, we carry DVDs, Blu-rays, and 4K UHD Blu-rays. Despite most TVs on the market these days being 4K, including the ones we sell, DVDs are still the most popular optical disk that we sell. I'd estimate we sell through 20 DVDs for every Blu-ray that gets sold. 4K UHD Blu-ray sales are so rare I almost want to stop the person buying and ask them about their purchase.|
Personally, I feel if the TV industry wants to push higher resolutions they are going to need to work with movie studios to phase out lower quality media and force an upgrade to peoples viewing habits.
