Description Most classes fall into the Council of Linkages Core Competency categories of Analytical/Assessment Skills; Policy Development/Program Planning Skills; Communication Skills/ Cultural Competency Skills; Community Dimensions of Practice Skills; Public Health Sciences Skills; or Financial Planning and Management Skills. Many classes are offered as a result of a workforce skills assessment, conducted every two years, to help identify gaps in skill and knowledge. At least 90% of evaluation respondents indicate they are at least "somewhat likely" to utilize at least one of the skills they learned in the professional development opportunity in their daily work. Description An evaluation survey is sent out following every in-house HHS professional development opportunity. One of the questions asked in this survey is, "As a result of this professional development opportunity, how likely are you to utilize at least one of the skills you learned in your daily work?" Formula Percentage is calculated by dividing the total number of respondents who indicated "somewhat likely" or "likely" that they would utilize the skills they learned in the professional development opportunity they attended during their daily work at HHS by the total number of survey respondents.
