3 | "Los Alamos is fortunate to be a town with people from a variety of backgrounds. Diversity and inclusion has played a very important role since the days of the Manhattan Project which brought together some of the greatest minds and talent from around the world to Los Alamos to live and work side by side. The week of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday has become our local Diversity Week to celebrate this melting pot that makes our town so unique." - MADHAVI GARIMELLA, One Los Alamos | |

10 | Lemonade Living | Lemonade Living was inspired by the Los Alamos High School Living Skills program. When a developmentally disabled or special needs young adult ages out of high school, parents may wonder, "What next?!" Local families have been faced with the choice of leaving Los Alamos for services or letting their loved ones sit at home and age. |
