52 | FI | I wanted to talk about the email on episode 485 about Samsung Android updates. I have a GS8 active (work phone), a tab S3 (work tablet), and a tab a 8" from 2017(personal tablet); while all of them are only on Android 9. They all have current year security patches. They tend to update twice a year. The GS8 Active is on June 2020. The tab S3 just updated the other day, I don't have it with me to check the exact date. The tab a 8" is on January 2020, I expect it will update any day now as they tend to update it that order (gs8a, tab 3, then tab a). While they are not as good as my pixel 2 xl or my wife's pixel 2 at receiving updates, I have been impressed with Samsung recently. I think they are doing better than in the past, but they still have a ways to go to reach a passing grade. While I love love OS updates, but I am satisfied with security patches. Jonathan (Loyal listener since episode 1)

54 | RR | Ron, In your review of the LG Velvet, I was surprised you didn't talk at all about using the dual screen case while reading comic books. I would suspect it would be a great use of the dual screen case and give you a somewhat real feeling of reading an actual comic book. I would love to hear your thoughts. 56 | EMAIL OF THE WEEK!!! | DRUMROLL
57 | JH | My question for the show is early on when the Google Home Hub or Nest or whatever it is now was released everyone talked about how great it was and how it was your central device to control your home. This aspect of controlling your home always threw me off because it feels far more limited than using a tablet, has this changed recently? I ask because I have a home theater and in my home theater I use a tablet that runs Harmony remote (primary controller for everything), Marantz Remote, nVidia Shield Remote, Philips Hue Remote, AC remote, Smart Life Outlets Remote, and on and on… as far as I am aware, of everything I just mentioned, pretty much only the lights can be controlled on the hub as there is no support for those third party apps as its not running a full android OS… Has this changed? Can I have an interface to control all those devices and the rest of my smart home stuff or am I still better off using a tablet and my phone, and that the home hub isn’t as great as people advertised or say it is for controlling your smart home?
