44	The CalChess Age Level Championship continues at CalChess. The sections are based on age (on 12/31/23) and February Supplement Rating (live rating on 1/18/24). Ages 4-17 players rated under 800 will play in their age level (and can't play in a lower or higher age level). Ages 4-9 players and ages 10-17 rated 800 and higher will play in Championship sections for Ages 4-9 and Ages 10-17. The winners will be awarded Kirshner Cup (for Ages 4-9) and Azhar Cup (for Ages 10-17) continuing the tradition.

112	The CalChess Team vs. Team offers a fun and novel opportunities for schools and clubs to compete as a team of K-12 players. In every match, any 4 players in each team play another team's 4 players in their rating order. A team can have 4-6 players (including 0 to 2 reserves). The total team score determine the match result. (A team needs 2 points to draw and more than 2 points to win.) A team's rating is the average rating of its top 4 players' March 2024 Supplement rating (live rating on 2/22/24).
