The choice "Publish to the Web" is useful because it allows anyone (not just Google users) to view your Google Drive presentation, document, sheet, etc. "Publish to the Web" makes your slides act like a website. It also shows how to add Screenshot Reader. This tool helps students read anything that is online- anything on Canvas LMS, Google Docs, or websites! It also has a dictionary tool, and the ability to highlight text and put those highlights in a Google Doc.

Watch this video to add Read and Write for Google Chrome! It's a tool that helps students read text online- Google Docs, websites, and your Canvas courses, and files that are stored online. Conroe ISD students and staff have the opportunity to add this to their Chrome browser. Use this video to guide you on how to add it to your Chrome browser if you are using a laptop or desktop computer. If you are using a Chromebook, please watch the Chromebook video to add it. Read and Write for Chrome, and Screenshot Reader have lots of ways to support students when they read online. Besides having text read aloud, these tools have a dictionary, highlighting tools, vocabulary lists, etc.

17	Do Ink Green Screen App Quick Start Guide	https://youtu.be/1axELQgUHHA	Watch this video to get a quick overview of how to use an app called "Green Screen" by Do Ink. We used this to make weather reports, but there is so much room for creativity using this app! Since we were in school, most students used a Chromebook to find a background image and they saved it to their Google Drive, then made a script and practiced. When the student got an iPad, they used our district SSO to sign in to their Google Drive, opened the image, and then took a screenshot of it. They used that same iPad to record the video and make the magic happen!

It also explains the easiest way to share the book with your teacher. If you do not have the ability to Air Drop, you can always save the book to the Photo Library, then go back to your Google Drive, tap "New" then tap "Upload File" and you can tap on the Photo Library to upload it to your Google Drive. Then you can share with your teacher.

Students upload a picture to the app, then record their voice with the info they want to share. The system saves to the Photo Library, and then students can upload it to their Google Drive. This video walks through all those steps, using a district iPad and the SSO. Once it's in Google Drive, it can be added to a slide show or document!
