| 5/1/22 4:00PM | Other | Snowmobile lot between Beaver Bottom and the overlook. Slushy but solid underneath and skiable. Had to quit due to thunder and lightning. Pretty good base yet but rocks are starting to show and the low areas have water. Be careful with that.... Otherwise. way fun.
| 4/24/22 4:00PM | Beaver Bottoms | If u go a couple miles down the road to the snowmobile lot the snow is hard paxk and crystaline. Awesome for any ski technique

| 3/30/22 12:00PM | Beaver Bottoms | Sadly the recent record high temps have created iso-thermal conditions unsafe for skiers and grooming equipment alike at Beaver Bottoms. The snow is unsupportable mush. Consider the course closed for the season. Please join us Saturday at 9am to remove the course markers, signs and equipment. Thank you for the great season while it lasted!
| 3/23/22 6:15PM | Beaver Bottoms | Freshly packed, not great corduroy, but the classic track looks good. It will be really fast and hard until about 10:15 am | Alex R | 1.75 |
| 3/22/22 6:00PM | Beaver Bottoms | snow crystal base, hard pack. Fast snow and good for skate. not much to edge the skis with but enough.
| 3/21/22 12:30PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | As of 1:00pm the road below the 2nd gate is unskiable. Lumpy ice/frozen mashed-potatoes. It would be super above the 2nd gate, but far too many deep, frozen postholes and tire ruts from inconsiderate foot and bike users. Moose spotted near Preston Valley Trailhead.
| 3/20/22 5:00PM | Beaver Bottoms | crystaline sorbe underneath, inch to one inch of fluffy powder sugar snow on top made for a perfect skate condiitons. Icy on the turns but no bottom to speed on the flats. Fun ride. recent grooming.
| 3/20/22 5:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Groomed above the second gate some great spring season skiing. | Rex D | 3 |
| 3/19/22 11:00AM | Beaver Bottoms | Been busy as a Beaver up here smoothin’ the track out for ‘ya. Come and get it while it lasts! | Jason W. 🦫 | 2 |
| 3/17/22 7:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Groomed from candy cane hill to water canyon. | Gabe Murray | 6 |
| 3/16/22 8:00AM | Beaver Bottoms | 3” of new snow packed down into a wonderful, easy to ski top layer. Classic track is set and should be wide enough to skate as well. Enjoy | Alex Ristorcelli | 2 |
| 3/15/22 5:30AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Green lives on, at least for now! Groomed the skate lane from the grooming trailers to the top of Water Canyon and re-set the classic track from the yurt down. The trail is still pretty much an ice sheet from the parking lot to the grooming trailers, and is getting pretty thin between the trailers and the second gate - but once you get above there, the conditions get way better, should be decent for both skate and classic. Get out there and enjoy it before the rain tonight! | Gordon G | 1.5 |
| 3/14/22 9:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | The bottom was icy and pretty rutted, but possible to get by if going slow. Above candy cane hill things got a bit better, and above the second gate conditions were significantly better. There was a lot of fresh powdery snow above second gate, so for skate it might be hard, but the classic track was smooth and nice.
| 3/13/22 5:00PM | Beaver Bottoms | Not Groomed. About 4 to 5 of new snow and more accumulating in heavy snowfall as I left. Soft fluffy snow made it a fun ski but seeing where the trail was was challenging. I skated. Most folks would not ski this but I like a variety of conditions. would be good for back country skis. Beautiful snow. Not sure when the groomer will resume but it will be premium conditions if given a little corduroy . Pretty slow going for any ski but the downhill runs are a hoot.
| 3/13/22 8:30AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Treacherous at the bottom ice with standing water. Awesome above the second gate snow rolled good under the gunzu. Slightly snowing at the yurt raining and snowing at the bottom. | Rex d | 5 |
| 3/12/22 2:30PM | Beaver Bottoms | Good cord and classic, pretty soft but should set up nicely tonight and skate delightfully before the next storm hits ❄️ | Alan T. & Jason W. 🦫 | 2.5 |
| 3/12/22 1:00PM | Smithfield Canyon | The last time we get to groom Smithfield a losing inches of the trail but go get a last run thus weekend. | Rex d | 4 |
| 3/11/22 9:30PM | Smithfield Canyon | Due to a broken starter on the snowmobile, grooming in Smithfield canyon has come to an end for the winter of 2021-2022. I wish to thank the hand full of volunteers who clipped branches, moved rocks, and meticulously flattened the canyon road for all to enjoy. The road is still covered with snow, albeit a little bumpy, for snowshoers, cross-country skiers, and hardy walkers. As you enjoy the canyon I recommend keeping eye skyward on the lookout for two bald eagles and fat little robins. Cheers! | John Louviere | 1 |
| 3/11/22 4:00PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | I groomed from trailer to WaterCanyon, conditions are very nice above Candy Cane Hill, classics tracks get better after Candy Cane Hill as well. | Gino | 3.5 |
| 3/10/22 4:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Roll from the trailer to the yurt | Josh f | 2 |
| 3/9/22 12:00PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Trail had been groomed and it was still snowing a lot up past the second gate with some wind. With ski goggles it’s no problem. Classic tracks were in great condition, And it is cold enough to not be sticky!
| 3/9/22 11:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Groomed from parking lot to Yurt with classic track from trailer up. Classic is excellent, skate track good but soft. Lots of new snow in upper canyon. Enjoy! | Chris Monz | 5 |
| 3/9/22 9:00AM | Beaver Bottoms | Excellent trail conditions, 15 inches of new snow, well groomed skate and classic track set, main trail is ready to ski, I will groom 2 more cutoffs on Saturday so that skiers can avoid the hill climb. | Alan Tarr | 6 |
| 3/7/22 7:30AM | Smithfield Canyon | The trail groomed up nice, the new snow was just what we needed. The top half is in excellent but the bottom half still has some icy patches. | Terry Williams | 2 |
| 3/6/22 6:00PM | Beaver Bottoms | Trail was rolled several times after the snow last night and today. The trail is pretty soft, but it is gorgeous up there. Enjoy! | Jeff PD | 4 |
| 3/6/22 5:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Trail from bottom gate to the trailers look awesome however there are some major ruts that are filled with 2 types of snow be careful above all good great dry snow. | Rex Davidsavor | 4 |
| 3/4/22 11:00PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Groom from second gate to Water Canyon | Josh f
| 3/4/22 3:30PM | Smithfield Canyon | Set corduroy and classic track from the trailer to the top. I did not groom the campground or the road below the trailer due to a section of road with no snow. I did not want to drag the snowmobile and the ginzu across the bare patch. | Terry W. | 1.5 |
| 3/1/22 10:03PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Pretty Good! Groomed from lower trailer to Water Canyon & set Classic Tracks from Water Canyon back to first trailer. Classic skiing should be fairly good in the morning and through mid day before it gets too warm, unless you have skin skis. Skate should be great after it warms up a bit in the morning. Be careful below the 1st trailer, will be very icy, and probably icy on and off up to the second gate in the morning before the heat wave turns the snow into slush. | Gino | 4 |
| 2/27/22 5:30AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | I used new ski-do to groom Green Canyon from lower trailer to Water Canyon. Set classic track on the downhill pass. I used the smallest groomer/ginzo for trail section from parking lot to lower trailer. Temperature this morning was 15 degrees. Snow groomed easily. Snow texture is firm and trail is fully covered with snow. | Alan Tarr | 2.5 |
| 2/26/22 1:45PM | Green Canyon - single track | Soft, but great. Very soft in the last section before the Yurt and up to the upper meadow. Snowshoed many wind-drift areas followed by a pass with the Snowdog. | Jeffery T Shepherd | 4.5 |
| 2/26/22 8:00AM | Beaver Bottoms | New snow on Friday was 4 inches deep. I groomed using roller to compact the light fluffy snow. I used razor to finish skate portion of the trail and set classic track. The snow surface is excellent. Windy Saturday afternoon caused drifting on portions of the trail. | Alan Tarr | 3 |
| 2/26/22 6:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Trail fully groomed set-classic track from trailer to Yurt. Excellent conditions. | Chris Monz | 4 |
| 2/25/22 7:00AM | Smithfield Canyon | Fresh snow groomed and classic track set | Eric | 2 |

| 2/23/22 4:00PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Extremely icy and in desperate need of a groom with the new snow. A snow biker was riding all over the classic tracks and for most of the trail it was impossible to see and use.
| 2/21/22 6:00PM | Smithfield Canyon | Good, had some heavy traffic from presidents day so it just needed to be freshened up. | Carson Campbell
| 2/21/22 5:00PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Yay snow!! Made one pass from the grooming trailers to the top of water canyon to pack down the freshies- about an inch at the bottom, 2-3 up top. Reset the classic track on the way down. Should be lovely skiing above the second gate for both skate and classic tomorrow- beware the ice sheet between the parking lot and the trailers though! Get out and enjoy the new snow, and keep doing your snow dances! | Gordon G | 2 |
| 2/21/22 1:30PM | Beaver Bottoms | A couple of laps to pack the 5” of floofy pow that fell this morning ⛄️ | Jason W.🦫 | 1 |
| 2/21/22 6:00AM | Smithfield Canyon | Groomed and feeling a bit like winter. Classic and skate conditions are really good. Be careful, there is a very hard icy layer under the inch or two of new snow. | John Louviere | 3 |
| 2/20/22 5:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Ski trail is very icy at the bottom until the trailers, this section was not groomed, too icy. Groomed over plenty of foot traffic and horse hoof prints (yep 🤷♀️). Section above 2nd gate should ski really well. Skiers, if you are looking for a good ski best to get it sooner than later, enjoy! | Darcie Murphy | 4 |
| 2/19/22 5:00PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | The trail is in great shape took some time this afternoon had horses walkers and runners on all parts of the trails was able to clean the majority of the post holes out due to the super warm temps. | Rex D | 3 |

| 2/18/22 6:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Skate lane groomed and is looking great with the fresh bit of snow this week. Classic track was left alone, but is in good shape. Still a few icy patches down low to watch out for, but should otherwise be great skiing. Enjoy! | Jeff P-D | 3 |

| 2/15/22 3:00PM | Smithfield Canyon | New corduroy and classic track set. The snow is thin in places and soft throughout the canyon. Small snowflakes were falling, hopefully we get some more. | Terry W. | 2 |
| 2/15/22 4:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Groomed from trailers to top of Water Canyon, one pass. Two passes between trailers and second gate. Too icy/hard to groom below trailers so very slick and poor ski conditions at lowest part of canyon. Same story different day, we need snow. | Darcie | 3 |
| 2/13/22 2:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Hard packed below trailers super icy hill also icey one lap in the skate lane | Rex d | 3 |
| 2/12/22 1:00PM | Smithfield Canyon | Very Icy in shadowed regions and slushy in sunny spots, hadn’t been groomed in awhile and it seems like it’s had a lot of traffic lately
| 2/10/22 5:00PM | Smithfield Canyon | Classic track and corduroy laid down. It’s fine—not great. We desperately need snow. | Eric | 2.5 |
| 2/10/22 5:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Fresh groom from bottom to top. Classic track is shallow but gets better the higher you go. Snow has softened up a bit and the skate track groomed up very nice after a few passes. Enjoy! | Jeff P-D | 4 |

| 2/5/22 8:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Groomed 2 passes with Yamaha 05. I was able to keep the tines digging deeply on the downward pass. Snow surface is hard packed from usage. Air temperature at time of grooming was 14 degrees. Set classic track. | Alan | 2.5 |

| 2/2/22 8:30AM | Beaver Bottoms | Good Morning! The thermostat this morning is reading between -7 and -15 degrees which means that the snow was very hard and the conditions are very variable. There are some places that are rock hard, and there are some places that were wind blown and will be soft. Tried to set the classic track. In some places it was to hard to actually puncture the snow. | Alex R. | 2 |

| 1/19/22 8:30AM | Beaver Bottoms | Hard packed and a little chunky | Alex | 2 |
| 1/18/22 9:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Snow on trail is very firm, hard old snow. I completed just one pass to cover any divots from Monday's skiers. I did not reset classic tracks. As stated by yesterday's groomer Ted, I also recommend skate skiing at Green Canyon. Classic tracks are set, recommend a chevron pattern of klister in the kick zone of your classic skis. | Alan | 1.5 |
| 1/17/22 5:00PM | Green Canyon - single track | Firm packed and smooth to last section. Upper section is more inconsistent, with frozen footprints primarily to the edges of center line. Various hazard trees overhanging/leaning into the trail removed for safety of users/groomers. | Sean Michael | 2 |
| 1/17/22 7:15AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | It’s perfect conditions for skate skiing. It was difficult setting the single track below the second gate. Multiple passes were done in the Meadows below the second gate and by the yurt with three passes up to water Canyon to try and level the trail. Overall conditions significantly improve above second gate including single tracks.. | Ted Mahan | 2.5 |

| 1/13/22 7:00PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Groomed the trail from trailer to Water Canyon. I only did one pass with the gins for skate, and left the classic track as-is. Conditions should be nice for skiing on Friday, specially after mid morning above Preston Valley | Gino | 2.5 |
| 1/13/22 3:00PM | Green Canyon - single track | Breaking trail for a good portion of the singletrack. Had to cut back into the slope with a snow shovel to get a level base to groom. Will need lots more passes | Chuck Jenkins | 4 |
| 1/13/22 1:00PM | Smithfield Canyon | Smithfield groomed up nice this afternoon. Classic track set and room to skate. Soft conditions persist in the afternoon. Enjoy! | Terry Williams | 2 |

| 1/12/22 5:00AM | Beaver Bottoms | Groomed 3 laps of the trail with roller and one lap with razor and classic track setter. As the air temperature was warming to 39 degrees at 4 p.m., snow surface was soft. The trail is fully covered with snow, it is "old snow". | Alan | 2 |
| 1/11/22 8:00PM | Green Canyon - single track | green cyn single track is as good as it gets - hard, wide, flat and sticky.
| 1/11/22 2:00PM | Smithfield Canyon | The canyon is in good condition for both skating and classic. It will likely ice up tonight, but until then it is relatively smooth. Enjoy! | John Louviere | 2 |
| 1/10/22 8:00PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Ok above second gate, better above Preston Valley for skate. Didn't set classic track with the snow very hard pack. Worked the trail above the second gate as best as possible with many laps and Ginzing. | Gino | 3 |
| 1/10/22 1:30PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Icy & rutted. Recommended for experience skiers only. Use extra caution in the parking lot and even driving to the trail head. ⚠️
| 1/10/22 7:00AM | Beaver Bottoms | Generally excellent condition on the classic track, great big thanks. One thing ― the right side of the classic track is too soft to plant a pole effectively ― even w/ big baskets ― for much of the length. I don't know anything about how to groom, but if that foot or so to the right of the classic track could be packed a bit w/out too much trouble, it would help. It's a bit of a nit ― again, many and big thanks to the groomers!
| 1/9/22 5:00PM | Beaver Bottoms | I groomed trail close to roadway at the south parking lot (near to highway 89). Last night, the snowplow threw dirty brown snow onto the trail. I used the sled and roller to compress the balls and chunks into the trail. Snow and ski trail conditions are excellent today. Temperature is below freezing, so snow texture is smooth. This area has the best snow conditions in the Nordic United grooming system. Classic track is set and skate trail portion is fast and wide. | Alanb | 1 |
| 1/9/22 5:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Made three passes with both ginzus, but the trail remains pretty bulletproof, especially below the second gate. Too firm to get a classic track set, but the skating should be decent- just be careful on the way down! | Rex and Gordon | 4 |
| 1/8/22 4:00PM | Beaver Bottoms | Gino took many laps with the razor to groom all the trails. I installed rope line further to the south along the roadway. I made 3 laps with the razor to widen the skate ski groomed side of the trail. Snow surface was crusted. Gino busted through the crust with repeated laps of the trail. I say the snow is very good. Classic track is set and firm. The warm temperature that happened on Thursday and Friday did not produce "mashed potato snow". Best skiing today is at Beaver. There was new snow falling when I left Beaver at 2:30 p.m. | Gino and Alan | 3 |
| 1/8/22 11:30AM | Smithfield Canyon | Ice packed and big animal foot prints on trail for almost 2/3 of the way up! Good now after two hours of working it over | Carson Campbell
| 1/7/22 9:00PM | Green Canyon - single track | Snowdog groomed from yurt down. Heavy 'cement' snow. Snowshoed entire upper section before descending. Cold(er) temps overnight should set up surface for some excellent riding in lower sections; upper may be too soft. **Significant postholing had damaged the trail above the second gate. These were runner footprints (many 5" deep) as evidenced by the stride length. Please spread the word that snowshoes are the rule above this gate. These footprints are very difficult to repair/fill, and will now freeze in place. | Sean Michael | 5 |
| 1/7/22 10:30AM | Beaver Bottoms | Broke up the 3” death crust into 3” death cookies. No classic track. Hate to admit it, but it’s a fatbike day. Next groom: Saturday morning. | Jason W. 🦫 | 3 |
| 1/7/22 8:00AM | Smithfield Canyon | Smithfield canyon groomed this morning but no set track for classic skiers due to a mechanical issue. Warm and soft conditions persist. | Terry Williams | 2.5 |
| 1/7/22 12:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Rolled from first gate to Water Canyon From first gate to second the trail is soft. Water Canyon has some good mobiles From the snow drifts. | Josh F
| 1/6/22 8:45PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Snow throughout the canyon is soft slush and melting quickly. Groomed the canyon using both snowmobiles and ginzu. Shoveled the drifts from yurt to the endpoint in Water Canyon to allow safe passage with the snowmobiles. If you want to experience skiing moguls on your cross country skis, Water Canyon is the place to ski. We did not set classic track because the snow is too soft. The air temperature needs to drop to 15 degrees to crust over the snow and hold the classic tracks. | Alan and Rex | 3 |
| 1/5/22 11:00PM | Smithfield Canyon | Packed and very rough. Building a snowman in the canyon may be more satisfying than skiing it right now. | John Louviere | 2.5 |
| 1/5/22 10:00PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Heavy wet deep snow, only able to roll almost up to the yurt from the 1st gate. Trail is narrow, many low hanging branches. Probably best for classic type skiing, and not skinny classic skis, good old fashion wide stable classic skis will be best for Thursday. | Gino & Gustavo | 3 |
| 1/5/22 8:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Rolled the whole trail, but the snow was too sticky to ginzu and lay down the classic track. Snow is sticky down low, but soft and wind-drifted higher up. Get out before the snow and wind fills it all in! | Jeffrey Perala-Dewey | 4 |
| 1/3/22 6:14PM | Green Canyon - single track | Tried to widen the trail at the top with the snow dog. The bottom couple sessions are great and packed well. It’s been so cold that that the snow is just kind of like sugar. The top is pretty good but still seems softish for hiking or running. | William Wood | 4 |
| 1/3/22 5:00PM | Beaver Bottoms | Marked the remainder of the course ahead of the next storm. ‘Bilers got in there so I groomed new cord and classic. Shaping up nicely! | Jason W 🦫 | 2 |

| 1/3/22 5:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Groomed from the groomers trailer all the way up. Fresh classic-tracks set from groomers trailer to second gate and up water canyon. multiple passes helped minimize the bowing effect seen on the trail in some heavier snow areas. snow is firm below the second gate but softens as you get closer to the yurt. | Ted | 3 |
| 1/1/22 8:00PM | Green Canyon - Ski Trail | Trail condition very good, it is a very cold night, Rex and I groomed from bottom to top and back, Rex made extra loops around, it was may first time using that Ginzu machine we use both, refilled gas and I think we did a good xcski tracks users are going to have a lot of fun Sunday morning, I’ll say total hours spent there four. | Gustavo Flores | 4 |
| 1/1/22 7:00PM | Beaver Bottoms | Set-up, packed and classic track set. Really soft and lumpy. Caution, it’s a work in progress. ⚠️ | Jason W, Rex D, Alex R, Alan T | 27 |
| 1/1/22 10:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Trail is fully groomed for skate and classic to the Yurt. No grooming up Water Canyon due to drifts. Skiing is cold but excellent. Happy New Year! | Chris Monz | 4 |

| 12/30/21 9:00PM | Green Canyon - ski trail | Snow!! Ran 2 sleds to break trail, pack and roll. Rolled up to Water Canyon - snowing and blowing hard in upper canyon. Trail will required several packing sessions before the Ginzu can be pulled and track set. | Dennis | 2.5 |
| 12/29/21 2:45PM | Green Canyon - single track | snowing lightly made 2 passes. Past switch back crossed road just before upper meadow turned around. | Tony Anstine
| 12/29/21 2:30PM | Green Canyon - single track | 2 of us packed the trail with the BWs until the last section. Got too soft in the last section. Then came back and dug out and packed in two drifted sections. | Ben Kofoed | 3.5 |

| 12/28/21 8:00PM | Green Canyon - single track | Surfaces are good to very good to the big switchback, with occasional exceptions. A few drifted areas remain soft and off camber. Please use help pack these by using the most uphill section. The Snowdog was run from the yurt down 2x, and is ready for tires and snowshoes to help the upper two sections become firm. | Sean Michael | 6 |

| 12/16/21 8:00PM | Other | Temple Fork: I tried to pack down the parking lot as much as possible. Followed some old covered tracks up the road and took a left at the Spawn Creek Trailhead road. Continued onto the Sawmill Trail. Eventually stopped just past the second bridge to the right (trails feeding in). The road to the Spawn Creek turn off was post holed by hikers, so not a great track. After the turn off, the classic track I left is smooth and fast. Once on the trail, underneath two junipers it was thin and scraped some rocks. Right after the second bridge to the right (higher up), there are a couple rocks exposed going up the hill. Other than that, great snow, fast, and I will be back.
| 12/16/21 10:00AM | Green Canyon - ski trail | 1 inch new snow; First pass used bow saw and pruning shears to cut away overhanging limbs and branches, 75 mins. Used roller for 4 trips up and down canyon to pull snow to center of trail. Three spots shoveled snow from side trail to cover rocks. Thank you for the large scoop shovel in the trailer. Snow is firm, with new snow to fill. My Swix wax thermometer indicated LF 7 violet for glide wax, and Extra Blue for kick wax today. Conditions are Very Good. Next snowfall will allow groomers to set classic tracks. Alan Tarr | Alan Tarr | 4 |
