De Pere was scored early on in the game, Javin Gauthier drew a walk on five pitches and Landon Raygo would drive Gauthier in from first base on an RBI double to left field putting De Pere ahead 1-0 in the first inning. Bay Port got off to a slow start on offense, their first hit came in the third inning when Jacob Martell notched a base hit to center field. Martell would advance to second on a sacrifice bunt by Sawyer Larson and would score the next at-bat via a Cal Casper double. Three more runs would score on hits by Grant Gill and Connor LaBar putting the score at 4-1 entering the fourth inning. In the bottom of the fourth Bay Port would score two more runs on a bases loaded walk and hit by pitch. On the mound for Bay Port Ethan Plog got the start and earned the win, tossing 4.2 innings allowing two hits and one run while striking out six, Keegan Wheeler threw 2.1 innings in relief to close out the game. The matchup resumed with a 12-12 tie, as Grafton put up six runs in the seventh inning to erase a 12-6 deficit, including a big three-RBI triple from Jaeden Tiegs. Tiegs played hero again for the Black Hawks in the 11th inning, as the junior drove a line-drive single to left field to walk it off. Carson Faust and Eli Goldstein each tallied multiple hits on the day. Nick Colker was big in three innings of relief, as the Viterbo commit struck out five batters and gave up zero hits, earning the win. Austin Wienke and Jack Counsell had multiple hits in the losing effort for Whitefish Bay. In Game Two, Grafton had baserunners on in every inning and put up 12 runs, accumulating 14 hits on the day. The top of the order had a productive day, as Mason Lempke, Michael Muecke, and Faust all had multiple hits, scoring a combined eight runs as well. Lempke and Faust each doubled twice.
