Hayden Hellenbrand would come in for the final inning, and earn the save as he struck out two and allowed just one walk. As for the offense, each of the top four batters in the Middleton lineup recorded a hit, including a double from Alden Clearly, and a triple from Jackson Rademacher. The only RBI for Middleton came from Jason Morgan who ripped a RBI single in the fourth. With this massive upset win, the Middleton Cardinals improved to 18-7 on the season, and will look to take on this same Janesville Craig team on Thursday. | ||||

Beau Bloxdorf rounded out the offensive efforts for Union Grove as he logged a triple and a single to drive in a pair of runs, as well. After the Wausau East offense put up a three-spot, Ty Rechner would then rip an RBI single of his own to make the score 5-3.
