Right away in the second inning, the Rockets jumped out to a 3-0 lead with the help of a 2-RBI single from Elliott Swanson, who finished with four RBIs in total as the eight hitter. The Pirates would answer and retake the lead in the fourth inning, via a fielder's choice from Jacob Martell, giving Bay Port a 4-3 lead. Neenah had an immediate response with a four-spot in the next frame, with the help of a double from Swanson, among other contributors. Tavian Ramos would get the win, and Zak Vanlerberghe slammed the door with five strikeouts over the last 2.2 innings and secured a 7-6 victory for the Rockets. For Bay Port, Brett Nysted had a quality performance at the plate by going 3-for-4 with a home run. | ||||

6 | Franklin squeezed out a win on Wednesday, coming back from being down in a 3-2 deficit for a majority of the game. Tyler Mielcarek of Racine Case had a 2-RBI double in the first inning to get the Eagles out to a quick 2-0 lead. A single from Boston Halloran cut the lead in half for the Sabers in the first inning. From there, both offenses went quiet for the most part. Racine Case added a run in the third inning, giving the Eagles a 3-1 lead, as starting pitcher Mateo Fuentes found his groove. Franklin added one run in the fifth via a sacrifice fly from Dylan Cunningham, scoring Alex Mierow. Then, in the seventh inning, the Sabers took advantage of an error and multiple walks, ultimately coming back to take home a 4-3 victory against Racine Case, topped off with a walk-off walk from Ben Hefter. | ||||

8 | St. Thomas More coasted to an 11-7 win over Catholic Central after putting up eight runs in the first inning. Five hits, including a double and triple, in addition to a few walks and errors allowed the Cavaliers to put up those eight tallies, as they sent 12 batters to the plate. St. Thomas More remained quiet after that though, which allowed the Hilltoppers to claw back into this one. Despite St. Thomas More throwing a no-hitter, Catholic Central drew 12 walks, allowing them to cut the lead to 10-7 after five innings. Manuel Sostre then came in for the last 2 2/3 innings, and was flawless, punching out five batters and giving up zero walks. He wasn't the only standout though, as Jack Counsell, Austin Wienke, and Benjamin Volpe added in two hits apiece. On offense, Jackson Servais went 3-for-3, including a 2-RBI single in the first inning, that gave them the lead for the rest of the game.
