The Raccoons responded by plating three runs of their own in the bottom half of the frame. It would be Waukesha West who took back the lead though, as Evan Brown hit an RBI single, and the Wolverines scored one more to give themselves a 4-3 lead. In the third inning, Marek Bolson clutched up for Oconomowoc, driving in a run to tie the game up at 4-4. From there, scoring was at a premium, as it was Brennecke's walk-off that eventually won the game for the Raccoons, giving reliever Anderson Hayes the win. On the day for the Pirates, Bunyer, Logan Schill, and Blake Hutter all had 3-for-4 performances. Bunyer and Schill both drove in three runs on their three hits. Despite the loss, Hunter Loser was the standout performer for Kewaskum as he went 4-for-4 and drove in four runs. Dylan Soyk also contributed to the Kewaskum offense as he went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs.
