Then in the fourth inning, CJ Trask continued his hot streak at the plate as he led off the inning with a solo home run that extended the knights lead to two. In the sixth, the Sabers offense got hot. After a leadoff single from Boston Halloran, a walk from Maxamillion Martin, and another single from Cael Lynch, Franklin was threatening. Lucas Farin then drove in one run on a error and Mitchell Semancik singled to left field that tied the game up at two. In the seventh, neither team could get anything going and the matchup was eventually sent into extras. It didn't take long to see the first run of the extras, as after a walk and a single, a run was brought home on a past ball to give Oak Creek the 3-2 lead. Then Nathan Hanel delivered a RBI single which was followed up by another RBI single from Matthew Risser to break the game open. In the bottom half, Michael Merline came out for his second inning of work and held onto the huge conference win for Oak Creek.
