The Papermakers strung together 13 hits as a team, three of which came off of the bat of Brayden Pleau. Sawyer Deering and Ryan Csida each added two hits for Kimberly, as Deering had two RBIs. A home run from Evan Olson and a big three-run fifth inning allowed the Papermakers to pull away. Alex Vander Loop was solid on the mound, going six innings and only allowing the two runs, punching out six batters. CJ Trask had a home run for the Knights in this one. | ||||

6 | Menomonee Falls defended their home turf and moved to 8-0 with a win over Homestead on Saturday. During the game, two hits and two RBIs from both Zach Wolfram and Dylan Dux carried the Phoenix offense to victory. Derek Steinbrenner added two more hits, crossing home plate twice during the game. A 3-for-4 performance from Carl Roemke was not enough, as the Highlanders' offense could not keep up with Menomonee Falls. | ||||

9 | In two tight matchups, Monona Grove made a valiant comeback in the final inning to walk-off Fort Atkinson in Game One. Down 4-1 in the seventh, the Silver Eagles scored four runs to mount their comeback. Five straight hits and an error got Monona Grove the win, as Dom Najacht had the walk-off after reaching on that error. Eddie Rivera was 3-for-3 for the Silver Eagles and Calvin Moreau had six strikeouts in three innings of relief on the mound, earning the win. Fort Atkinson bounced back in Game Two, as this one took nine innings to settle. Three of the Black Hawks' relievers held down this potent Monona Grove offense to just one run over the last four innings of play. Braeden Sayre had the game-winning hit, singling to centerfield and winning the game for Fort Atkinson. Nathan Hartwig and Cam Haagenson each had two hits in the win. James Cullison finished 3-for-5 for the Silver Eagles in the loss. | ||||

Game Two was more of the same for the reigning Division 2 State Champions, as the Vikings put up a combined 14 runs in the fifth and sixth inning to blow this game open. Miller once again was the producer, going 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs. Nolan Perry helped out too, going 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. | ||||

Charlie Taft was solid in 2.2 innings of relief, allowing zero runs against a solid Bulldogs team. Sam Moses hit a home run in a losing effort for Cedarburg. | ||||

Kade Scott was the main run producer for the Falcons, driving in four with the help of a triple. Game Two of the day was a different story, as Waupun erupted for an eight-run fourth inning, finishing with nine hit and nine walks on the day. Mason Holz, Chase Beahm, and Ethan Cunningham all had multiple hits for the Warriors in this one, as their offense was too much to handle for Westosha Central, who was handed their fourth loss of the season. | ||||

Aside from that though, the starter was flawless, only throwing 76 pitches. Watertown brought out the bats too, as their standouts included Jacob Hurtgen, Calvin Hurtgen, and Cameron Kranz. Kranz was not retired in this one, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs. Game Two was a little tighter, as the Goslings just held on to the lead in the final frame, holding Beaver Dam to only one run with a two-run lead. Four errors from the Golden Beavers pushed Watertown towards their sweep, as one of the errors in a four-run fifth inning gave the Goslings the lead that they needed. | ||||

They used a three-run sixth, with the help of RBI hits from Kris Hahn and Jackson Drobac, to take over the lead and win Game One. With a 3-3 tie heading into the fifth inning, the Demons got one run via an RBI groundout from Austin Anderson, which gave Deerfield the 4-3 lead that they eventually held on to. Fisher had two RBIs and Landon Brattlie had two hits from the leadoff spot to guide the team to their second win of the day. | ||||
