18 | Arrowhead avoided an early upset in their matchup with a solid Brookfield Central squad, courtesy of some late game heroics. It was the Warhawks who got on the board first when Thomas Curry ripped a double to left field that brought home Ethan Hindle. Brookfield Central would then respond with two of their on sacrifices from Jaxon Clayton and Noah Dreier. Then in the fourth, Arrowhead would tie it back up at two, after a RBI single from Brady Carpenter. But it wouldn't last long as Hunter Szymborski would hit a sacrifice fly to give Brookfield Central the lead right back. In the sixth, Ethan Hindle tied the game back up for Arrowhead when lined out to bring home a run. Then in the seventh, the Warhawks loaded up the bases on singles from Thomas Curry and Connor Olson, and a HBP. This led the way for Brady Beck who ripped a single to right field for his third hit of the game, which brought home a run and gave Arrowhead the walk-off win. On the mound, Nolan Buss got the start and he allowed two earned runs on three hits in his five innings of work. Brayden Ramus was also solid in his two-innings of relief, scattering just one hit and punching out one too. | ||||

Peyton Schumann would drive in both runs on an RBI single to the left fielder giving West the lead. Three pitchers combined to shutout West Allis Central, Andrew Halser got the start and tossed three scoreless innings allowing two hits and struck out three batters. Monona Grove was in complete control as their six-run second inning gave them a lead that would last. Monona Grove's offense didn't stop as their four-run fifth inning ended the game early. On the mound, Kaden Connor turned in a quality performance as he went five scoreless innings and struck out six. Connor's performance on the mound, coupled with the relentless offense, was more than enough for Monona Grove to clinch a Regional Championship. The Silver Eagles will take a trip out to La Crosse as they find themselves matched up with Verona in the first game of Sectionals. | ||||

32 | Appleton North pulled off the upset on Thursday as they knocked off Ashwaubenon and advanced to Sectionals. Appleton North's offense was on full display as Alex Ramus led the way. Ramus went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs that fueled the Lightning's upset. Caden Popp went 2-for-4 and drove in a run, contributing to the team total of 12 hits. After four innings passed, Ben Isom entered the game in relief for Appleton North and was dominant out of the bullpen. Isom toed the rubber for the final three innings and didn't allow a hit. Not only did he not allow a hit, but he also did not allow a single runner in the final three innings. Isom's relief gave Appleton North's offense room to work and secured their place in Sectionals. With the upset, the Lightning moved on and will have another Power 25 matchup as they will meet Hortonville in the first game of Sectionals. | ||||

Thatcher Anderson and Chase McQuade each had two hits for River Falls, including two doubles from McQuade. Ben Johnson had a team-high two RBIs in the win, walking once and laying down a SAC bunt later on. With the win, the Wildcats earned a Regional Championship and will battle against Stevens Point next Tuesday in the Marshfield Sectional. | ||||

36 | Easton Arendt and Ethan Plog matched up in a pitchers' duel on Thursday, as Arendt was able to come out on top for De Pere. The right-hander pitched a complete game, striking out seven batters while throwing a three-hitter. As Arendt earned the win, the Redbirds put up all three of their runs in the third inning, which proved to be all they needed in this one. Landon Raygo had a big RBI double in the inning, as his hit gave De Pere the lead. Raygo would eventually score on an error to extend their lead to 3-1. From there, Arendt did not allow a hit, winning it for the Redbirds. De Pere now looks to Sectionals and a matchup with No. 1 seeded Kimberly. | ||||

Offensively, Wech doubled and drove in a run in the fifth inning to tie the game at 1-1. On the mound, the right-hander struck out 11 batters in a five-inning start, allowing five hits and one run to score. Bryce Erdmann would get the win, as the reliever threw the last three innings, holding the Owls to zero runs. Despite the loss, Raine Fredericks was solid in his start for Slinger, striking out seven in six innings. It was not enough though, as the Ships advance to Tuesday to play against Beaver Dam in Sectionals. | ||||

In a low scoring affair Aben Beinlich was able to hold the Kettle Moraine offense to four hits and one run throughout his start. Tossing a complete game and striking out six in the process as he lead Burlington to a win on the mound. Burlington struck first in the bottom of the first off of an Ethan Daubner RBI single. Kettle Moraine would tie up the game in the bottom of the frame off of a passed ball. Burlington would answer back with two more runs in the top of the second on a Kaleb Zabielski RBI triple, Wren Dietz would bat Zabielski in on a RBI single to left field bringing the score to 3-1 in the top of the second. From there Beinlich was able to hold off the Kettle Moraine offense and Jonah Roloff came on in relief and tossed 5.2 scoreless innings in relief keeping his team within striking distance. Every starter in the Goslings' lineup had at least one hit on the day, as the team finished with 12 in total. In the first inning, Nathan Walter barreled up a baseball to the left field wall, driving in two runs with two outs to extend Watertown's lead. As the Goslings batted through their order, they took advantage of two defensive miscues from the Spartans' defense to score those five runs. From there, the two teams traded a couple of runs for the rest of the game. Roethle pitched for five innings in his start, earning the win by avoiding crooked numbers, along with striking out two batters. Michael Tarr was big in relief, as the left-hander closed the last two innings and got out of a bases loaded jam with zero outs in the sixth frame, only letting one inherited runner score on a SAC fly. Tarr retired the last six batters to win it, as the Goslings advance to Sectionals for a battle with another North Shore Conference team in Hartford.
