6 | Very dry south-facing slope with rolling topography, exposed rock outcrops and some flatter benchlands. Vegetation ranges from sagebrush/grassland at lower elevations to open Ponderosa pine and Douglas-fir forests at higher elevations. Noted for Bighorn Sheep, Mule Deer, Dusky Grouse. Provides critical habitat for a number of species at risk including Great Basin Spadefoot Toad. | ||
