8 | As the rain started to fall at Regner Park, the visiting Blue Dukes took down West, 4-3 in 9 innings, to sweep the season series. Jack Stecker relieved Bay stater Owen Jonas (6K) to start the 5th and threw 4 2/3 of shut out ball, racking up 8K’s. Nathan Ebersole came in from SS to relieve Stecker with the bases loaded and 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, and promptly ended the West rally with a strikeout, earning the save. Ebersole and 2B Brady Counsell led the Blue Dukes offense with 3 hits each. Freshman Michael Lippe also chiped in with a huge 2 out RBI single in the 6th to tie the game, 3-3. | |||
