| Mini Name | Talent 1 | Talent 2 | Talent 3 | Notes | PvP Notes | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Abomination | Noxious Presence | Cannonball | Fresh Meat | Abomination noxious presence is generally the best, poison lasts 6 seconds and stacks infinitely so you can combine these with other forms of poison delivery to really stack up a solid DPS increase - Noxious presence remains the most consistent IMO (wish they would let it apply poisons slightly more quickly) especially for PvE - Cannonball is really good on the defensive and in healing decks HOWEVER abomination is not currently played in any healing decks because there are better low cost options - Fresh meat is situational especially as the double damage isn't usually needed to finish off a ranged unit quickly! | Abomination isn't a very popular PvP mini due to the high cost, slow movement speed, and better options for the "tank" role on a lower cost basis Most Abom decks revolved around healing in the beta which made cannonball very powerful but please note that the extremely high HP pool for abomination made it very hard to fill his HP bar with Frostwolf shaman alone Still believe Noxious Presence to be the all round more useful talent here. | READ FIRST | This chart is intended to be a guide based on research from the beta and Global Launch, from the Discord, and from other high level players. Choosing the right talent is VERY important for your first uncommons as it can be time consuming and costly to get the next one if you choose wrongly. All talents have their place but the reccomendations in BOLD are designed to be the best "all-round" choices and should mean that all of your minis remain useful as you level them up. Of course things can change with balance updates etc but this should be a helpful guide for you all :) |
| Angry Chickens | Snackrifice | Walking Crate | Furious Fowl | Walking crate is the most usable talent, Snackrifice could have a place in a beast deck I think furious fowl could genuinely be strong in some scenarios especially where you know they don't have AoE clear ready to go | Walking crate still best for PvP, this unit isn't very good in most PvP decks right now though | ||
| Arcane Blast | Amplification | Arcane Power | Torrent | Amplification is the best by far - arcane power actually makes the spell kinda unusable | Amplification is the only good talent, especially in PvP | ||
| Banshee | Soul Eruption | Unholy Frenzy | Will of the Necropolis | I think Will of the Necropolis is the best here for both PvE and PvP - It's very rare you get to banshee a full HP target so healing the unit makes it much more usable once you take it over! | Will for PvP - Banshee is a tech unit and is usually only EVER used in defensive situations (usually under your own tower, giving your opponent less time to kill it)- which usually means the target will have taken damage | Colour Key | UPDATED: 03/02/2024 |
| Baron Rivendare | Death Pact | Skeletal Frenzy | Chill of the Grave | Chill is the best talent hands down - mages much more useful than standard skeletons. Even with the nerf I thikn Baron is still best with chill. Mages are way more annoying and can hit ground and air units. Gryphon rider becomes too strong vs. Baron decks if you just run normal skeletons. There is something to be said about skeletal frenzy though | Chill is still my go-to here | Good | |
| Bat Rider | Flaming Pitch | Enchanted Vials | Fiery Surplus | Actually think annoyingly, Enchanted Vials is probably the best - mostly due to the fact the extended range can help Bat Rider deal with certain units a little better (such as Mountaineer in PvE situations) Flaming pitch is still good and Fiery Surplus can be useful in PvP | I really like Fiery Surplus in PvP due to the fact you're almost always going to get value out of it dropping the vials on the linear paths to your base | Situational | |
| Blizzard | Cold Snap | Icecrown | Brittle Ice | Cold Snap is hands down the best talent for Blizzard, ensures that anyone caught in the initial cast Radius takes full damage from the spell. Icecrown situationally good in PvP vs unbound decks, Brittle Ice again very situational | Cold Snap is overpowered in PvP, freezes turrets and untis meaning you can take free trades vs. them | Bad | |
| Bloodmage Thalnos | Bane | Drain Life | Dominance | Bane is the best all-round talent here, Drain Life is better since the buff but still not great, dominance is really hard to use properly and isn't very good in most decks | Same as general notes, Bane still the best | ||
| Cairne Bloodhoof | Reincarnation | Plainsrunning | Aftershock | I think Plainsrunning is the hands down best in PvP as PvP favours fast units, Reincarnation is very strong in PvE though and should be considered for pushing heroics | Nothing more to add - Plainsrunning makes Cairne a much better unit and means he can react and control the map a lot better | BOLD | My choice for first talent option (Uncommon level) Please note that it may not be the ABSOLUTE best it's just what I feelt is best overall |
| Chain Lightning | Brilliant Flash | Storm's Reach | Reverberation | Reverberation is actually quite strong and has a lot of use cases now, I still really like Brilliant flash though for the stun (super useful). Some players have started using storms reach too - really this is just personal preference | Brilliant flash is VERY strong in PvP - resetting SAFE Pilot animaiton (and revealing stealth), getting a crucial stun for a trade, resetting aggro etc | ||
| Charlga Razorflank | Nature's Grasp | Cavernous Mists | Spirit Passage | Cavernous Mists is generally the go-to for Chargla in PvP due to the cost reduction. In PvE I think Nature's Grasp is still super strong though | I think Cavernous Mists in PvP is better because you actually don't really want to play Charlga at all (she's a bad unit) | If you found this useful please feel free to join my Discord or sub to my YouTube Channel Discord: https://discord.gg/excoundrel YouTube: https://youtube.com/excoundrel | |
| Cheat Death | Seal Fate | Vampirism | Apocalypse | Vampirism stands out for Cheat Death - can potentially save some units and keep them going in the fight | No further notes | ||
| Chimaera | Corrosive Breath | Frost Shock | Leviathan | This is an intersting one because I think most people expected Leviathan to be the most important here - here are some of my thoughts: - Leviathan will make this unit harder to kill in general and will help it becomre more of the "Flying fortress" we kinda expect for 5gold. It does however CAP at 3 x the Health increase which is kinda lame - Frost Shock will apply frost to pretty much everything due to the fact the chain lightning attack can hit 20 targets, I feel like this would have been way better with a 0.25 stun on attack instead though (that would have been OP maybe) - Corrosive Breath actually feels like the best PvE option due to the face you apply FOUR poison stacks per hit which will exponentially increase your damage vs bosses, HOWEVER, you can just use Harpies with the poison talent for a cheaper cost and similar poison application levels | Chimaera is very underwhelming in PvP because it is very weak to SAFE Pilot but I think most people go for Leviathan in PvP to slightly increase the durability of the unit. I think Frost Shock could be good also but need to test it! | ||
| Core Hounds | Fiery Rebirth | Guard Dog | Eternal Bond | Eternal bond is the only good talent - means you can split the core hounds and they will revive each other! | Nothing more to add PvP wise - Eternal bond! | ||
| Dark Iron Miner | Dark Iron Armaments | Gold Mine | Dwarven Ambition | Gold Mine has quickly become the talent of choice in PvP - I think in PvE Armanents is still better just because our Miner becomes much tankier but the map control mines give you in small PvP maps is very good | Gold Mine is the PvP choice, helps you control gold mine areas as the mines generally one-shot kobolds | ||
| Darkspear Troll | Bid Bad Voodoo | Headhunting | Serpent Sting | Big Bad Voodoo and Serpent Sting are both strong, Headhunting has its place but is hard to get value from. I originally didn't like BBV but tested it out and it make this guy a seriously tanky dude through regeneration, | I think Big Bad Voodoo still remains the talent of choice in PvP although outside of Cairne decks there is definitely a case for serpent sting! | ||
| Deep Breath | Attunement | Melting Pot | Double Dragon | Double Dragon is still the go-to talent here but the others do have situational usefulness | Double Dragon 100% | ||
| Defias Bandits | Deadly Poison | Pick Lock | Last Resort | Personally like all Defias Talents: - Poison makes these guys more useful as 1-costs especially if they are attacking without drawing the aggro. Not as useful if they get immediately killed on unstealth - Pick Lock has really insane value potential especially in PvP which I why I took this talent. Basically a free Sneed if you can get them to kill the chest. - Last Resort is useful, 3 second stun is super nice and if they're in a 2v1 it basically results in a 6 second stun. Less useful vs. group situations where only the killing blow gets stunned | Pick Lock is absolutely useless on maps with no chests (like Arathi Basin) so I would personally opt for Deadly Poison or Last Resort - leaning towards Deadly Poison :) | ||
| Drake | Mother Drake | Roost | Engulfing Flames | Mother Drake is IMO the best especially because you essentiall drop "taunting" landmines on the flight path - Engulfing Flames is good but you need to attack to get value and it's only really good vs. high HP targets anyway | Drake is not a great PvP unit but Mother Drake is still the best for map control and lane control - shame the eggs don't gain the flame burst trait! | ||
| General Drakkisath | Chromatic Scales | Piercing Blows | Lasting Legacy | I like Chromatic Scales because it makes a support party for Drakkisath more resistant to things like Blizzard and AoE Elemental Damage but Piercing Blows is also really really good | Chromatic Scales are really the only good option for PvP - you need to play Drakkisath in some kinda death ball comp so this is the only talent that supports that | ||
| Earth and Moon | |||||||
| Earth Elemental | Ready to Rumble | Shrapnel Blast | Obsidian Shard | Obsidian Shard is the best talent - adds the most value to the unit. Ready to Rumble can be situationally ok but most of the time you're using Earth Elemental to draw aggro before your vulnerable units get there. Even with the buff I think Shrapnel Blast is still too situational | Earth Elemental currently sucks in PvP due to Dragon Towers but I think Obsidian shard still remains the best talent here | ||
| Emporer Thaurissan | Moira's Wit | Hubris | Incinerate | I think Hubris is now collectively considered the best "first talent" and both Wit and Incinerate being rather situational | Hubris for sure! | ||
| Execute | Bloodthirsty | Killing Spree | Overpower | Bloodthirsty is 100% the go-to for Execute decks right now - overpower is situationally useful though and IMO has a very high skill cap | Bloodthirsty | ||
| Faeria Dragon | |||||||
| Fire Elemental | Immolation Aura | Molten Core | Fan the Flames | Immolation Aura is just the best due to how Fire Elemental is played (healing decks with Holy Nova) so you get the most damage out of it by sustaining the Fire Elemental HP pool | Immolation Aura is also the best option in PvP by a mile - you play EE with shaman for another "deathball" comp and the burn damage helps vs. towers and melee threats | ||
| Firehammer | Moultin' Metal | Blazing Speed | Heightened Rage | I think Blazing Speed and Heightened Rage are both good but Blazing Speed likely gives the best DPS output overall | Moultin' Metal is kinda overkill vs. the only real aerial threat gargoyle. I think Firehammer is still too expensive though | ||
| Flamewaker | Heat Stroke | Engulf | Backdraft | Honestly these are all "OK" talents and useful in certain scenarios - I think engulf is the best DPS talent and makes Flamewaker more effective vs. High HP targets also. Don't think the increasing range is absolutely necessary though IMO | Not a great PvP unit right now due to too many air threats like Gryphon Rider, I imagine that the increasing range or daze talent would be best though | ||
| Footmen | Shield Bash | Fortification | Last Stand | I think Fortification is the most used talent, primarily because you wouldn't really run footmen outside of a Tirion deck. Shield Bash is still the most utility outside of healing decks | You really only see fortification in PvP as footmen are only ever used in healing decks! | ||
| Gargoyle | Wing Buffet | Obsidian Statue | Aerial Superiority | Wing buffet is the most all-round useful talent. Statue is bad and Aerial Superiority can be really strong vs. flying but is quite situational. | Not used in PvP right now due to Dragon towers but Wing Buffet is the most useful talent in PvP too | ||
| Ghoul | Bone Shield | Ravenous | Taste for Blood | This guy is a tanky boi and Bone Shield makes him an even more Tanky Boi vs. most Melee damage in the game. I like this talent. | Bone Shield is an absolute BEAST in PvP especially vs things like Huntress and Darkspear Troll | ||
| Gnoll Brute | Rabid | Pillage | Thick Hide | Rabid makes this cost 2, makes it a cycle minion and overall provides the most value as a talent. Thick Hide is good but honestly for 2 gold I'm happy to have Gnoll without Armor. Pillage is bad - not like Raider who ignores units. | Thick Hide could have a place in PvP but ultimately it's hard to fit this guy into a deck, Rabid is also just very good making this unit high value for 2g | ||
| Goblin Sapper | Extra BOOM | Rocket Powered | Crude Gunpowder | Rocket Powered the best here, makes these guys more effective at doing what they are supposed to do... which is run at towers mindlessly. | Rocket Powered is the only choice in PvP otherwise these are too easy to kill off and they never have an impact | ||
| Grommash Hellscream | Bladestorm | Mirror Image | Savage Strikes | Savage Strikes is apparently the best for Grommash based on some users that have played him far more than I. 50% is a good threshold so you do get a lot of value out of the talent. Mirror Image is also decent based on use % in PvP. | Grommash isn't very popular in PvP but the general consensus is that Savage Strikes is also the best talent choice for him | ||
| Gryphon Rider | Air Drop | Odyn's Fury | Mighty Throw | Odyn's Fury is really good at ramping damage up vs. tanks and ramping damage up through longevity in a fight. Might throw keeps Rider safer and helps her win some match ups that may have been losing previously. Both are good - I opted for throw. Airdrop works in Gargoyle decks and other "buffing" decks so should be considered - however is more deck specific than other talents | Mighty throw is the only option realistically - if you aren't running mighty throw you lose to grphyon riders that ARE running it so even though all of the talents have use cases mighty throw is the all-round best! | ||
| Harpies | Infectious Swipes | Trinket Collectors | Talon Dive | - Infectious Swipes make these guys boss and tank killing machines and ultimately is the best PvE talent for Harpies - Trinket Collectors massively increases the utility of Harpies in both PvE and PvP but does make them more expensive - Talon Dive sucks | Really in PvP it depends what you want to use Harpies for - I think trinket collectors is ONLY viable in a Rend deck because 4 gold is way too expensive given how much we see Chain Lightning in PvP. Otherwise Infectious Swipes seems to be the most common addition | ||
| Harvest Golem | Trojan Chickens | Unstable Core | Bountiful Harvest | This is a hard one to call - unstable core is super strong vs grouped enemy units. Basically an AoE 6 second stun which is crazy when you write that down. Trojan chickens makes this guy much more effective in the 1v1 and offers tank killing potential. I opted for Chicken for the consistency but I think I'd take unstable core first | You don't see too much Harvest Golem in PvP honestly - difficult to say what works best here. Split between Unstable Core and Chickens | ||
| Hogger | Ham Hock | Spoiled Meat | Fatal Frenzy | Poison on Hogger feels like a waste of a talent and only one talent here really plays into the cycle nature of Hogger which is Ham Hock | Ham Hock only good talent!! | ||
| Holy Nova | Inner Fire | Renew | Amplify Magic | Inner Fire essentially provides double the healing for 5 seconds after you use the spell (increases the effective HP healed by 2 due to the resist + armor it gives. Amplify magic is very strong in Fire Elemental deck but that's it really, it did just get buffed though so needs more testing. Renew can be useful but depends on how much it heals | Amplify magic is actually used frequently in Fire Ele decks which can be good in PvP but ultimately I think Inner Fire is more flexible! | ||
| Huntress | Darnassian Steel | Elven Might | Shadowmeld | Another unit where all the talents are actually very good! - Darnassian Steel is really strong vs. swarms and lots of squad units but probably the least useful of the three as a first talent - Elven might makes single target much more effective and is IMO the best PvE talent - Shadowmeld is best in PvP and still fairly useful in PvE Honestly a split between Eleven Might and Shadowmeld but I think Shadowmeld is likely ever so slightly better as a first choice talent | Huntress prefers shadowmeld in PvP but Elven Might is also acceptable. Shadowmeld lets huntress trade into things she wouldn't traditionally win vs. | ||
| Jaina Proudmoor | Blink | Clearcasting | Flurry | Blink is the most universally useful for Jaina but Clearcasting is also relatively solid in a Jaina spell deck | Blink in PvP is used far more, means jaina can jump behind a tank/reset aggro | ||
| Living Bomb | Burden of Fate | Chain Reaction | Blast Radius | I think Blast Radius makes the most sense here as Chain Reaction won't affect units already affected by Living Bomb (so really only affects units in one long line which isn't usually going to happen) | Useless spell in PvP so talents don't matter much here!! (Think Blast radius remains best though) | ||
| Maiev Shadowsong | Enveloping Shadows | Shadowstep | Remorseless | Remorseless has become the go-to talent in PvP and I think shadowstep has become a bit more situational depending on the deck you're playing. Maiev can usually kill with her opening attack so double damage is really nice | Remorseless is best IMO, she usually kills something exiting stealth and that triggers the double damage | ||
| Meat Wagon | Meat and Bones | Filet Trebuchet | Greased Gears | I originally said Greased Gears felt like the best talent but after talking to some PvE experts they've all opted for the increased range of Filet Trebuchet | Increased range makes this unit VERY viable on the current PvP map especially in Baron decks - keep an eye out for meatwagon popping up in the meta! | ||
| Molten Giant | Threatening Presence | Blood Of The Mountain | Bolster | Only one good talent here IMO which is damage on death - Threatening Presence is kinda meh because you really want to set up your giant to draw aggro anyway. The only reason this may help is if the enemy messed up positioning of unbound units going for your backline. | I think Blood of the Mountain is still the best in PvP - you want enemies to commit many units to taking it down and then deal a lot of damage to them when it does eventually die | ||
| Mountaineer | Frenzied Spirit | Mend Pets | Intimidation | I think Intimidation is the best here, Frenzied Spirit is also good but Mend Pets too situational to reccomend as a first talent. This unit sucks though - needs to be 5 gold. | Mountaineer is awful in PvP but I imagine the taunt would be best overall! | ||
| Murloc TideHunters | Safety Bubble | Careful Aim | Morelocs | All of the talents here are usable IMO but I feel like Safety Bubble is the best due to essentially giving your tidehunters a get out of jail free card vs stuff like Chain Lightning, First Huntress Bounce. SAFE Pilot first hit etc. | Safety Bubble is the best, makes the tidehunters slightly more durable and helps them deal a bit of damage/trade with units that they would usually instantly die to! | ||
| Necromancer | Cult of the Damned | Jeweled Skulls | Breath of the Dying | All Necromancer talents are quite good, I've seen a few lists running Breath of the Dying too- which I originally wrote off as bad. Ironically the talent I loved at the start is now likely the weakest. I think sticking to Jeweled Skulls right now is fine however | Jeweled Skulls or Breath are used most frequently in PvP - althrough Necromancer has fallen off as it is very weak to safe pilot | ||
| Ogre Mage | Frostfire Bolt | Ignite | Avarice | Avarice and Frostfire bolt are good talents - after having talked to players that have used Ogre Magi more than I it looks as if Frostfire bolt is actually the strongest (AoE frost that deals damage is nice) | I think the utility of Frostfire bolt makes this the most desirable talent in PvP | ||
| Old Murk-Eye | Tip of the Spear | Marathon of the Murlocs | Electric Eels | I think Tip of the Spear makes your Murlocs too vulnerable to an AoE clear, so the safest option and the option that most people go for is Marathon of the Murlocs. I went for Electric Eel personally but I know there is a bit of a split debate on which one is best | Marathon of the Murlocs tends to be the best in PvP because you can play around blizzard more effectively which is Murk-Eyes biggest counter (play a small unit, bait the blizzard and then spam after Blizzard ends). Electric Eels is still good though! | ||
| Plague Farmer | Parting Gift | Virulence | Splashing Pumpkins | Parting Gift isn't terrible but Virulence kinda is (I mean you're AoE poison so most things around the target are going to be poisoned already). Splashing Pumpkins is the most usable and adds the most value to this unit | Splashing pumpkins is excellent on the current PvP map and functions a lot like Meat Wagon - good for map control! | ||
| Polymorph | Golden Fleece | Exploding Sheep | Stable Transfiguration | Both Golden Fleece and Exploding Sheep are pretty good - exploding sheep vs low HP targets basically gives you a cheap living bomb so you can clear super easily. Golden Fleece is better if you're dealing with higher HP targets. Most people tend to opt for Golden Fleece given Exploding sheep feels a bit overkill. | Golden Fleece is still likely the best all round talent in PvP although exploding sheep is great vs. Old Murk Eye! | ||
| Prowler | On the Prowl | Pack Leader | Predatory Instincts | On the Prowl the best here, unless you're weaving Prowler into a Beast deck with Hogger and want to use it there primarily - if that's the case then Pack Leader is really really good | On the Prowl best in PvP but honestly Prowler isn't so useful when not contesting central chests! | ||
| Blackrock Pyromancer | Pyroblast | Conflagrate | Blaze of Glory | Pyroblast often present the most value in defensive situtions but conflagarate is very useful in some PvE scenarios. I wish I could give Blaze of Glory a -1000000 score it's so shit | I think Pyro is still better in PvP because we really only use pryomancer as a defensive unit | ||
| Quilboar | Bristleback | Tunnel Vision | Bramble Burst | Unironically Bristleback is now the go-to. Oh how times have changed. Tunnel Vision isn't actually super useful at all - doesn't even make them drawn aggro more quickly. | Bristleback, even with the nerfs. I think is the go-to now | ||
| Ragnaros | |||||||
| Raptors | Strength in Numbers | Fast Food | Motivation | Strength in Numbers plays into the strengths of this unit super well and I think ultimately is the most useful talent for Raptors | Not used frequently in PvP but really makes sense that Strength in Numbers is the best talent | ||
| Rend Blackhand | Flaming Soul | Scale and Steel | Legionnaire | REALLY HARD to split Scale and Steel vs. Flaming Soul. Scale and Steel really increases the stickyness of Rend and makes him much harder to kill overall but you can get some absolutely massive wins using Flaming Soul. Prefer Flaming Soul due to the higher peaks you can get with the talent | Scale and Steel is the go-to for all PvP | ||
| S.A.F.E Pilot | Gnomish Cloaking | Comin' In Hot! | Gnomish Muttonizer | I am unsure here but I think most people have defaulted back to Gnomish Cloaking due to the impact damage reduction from Comin' in Hot | Cloaking seems to be favoured now! | ||
| Frostwolf Shaman | Earthwall Totem | Lighning Mastery | Earth Shield | Earthwall has use in PvP but Earth Shield is so good in both PvE and PvP that you NEED it as your first talent. Lightning Mastery is bad. | I am kindaaaa looking at Earthwall Totem because it helps vs. Blizzard base damage chip away but Earth Shield still remains the most useful because shaman is a bit of a shit unit otherwise | ||
| Skeleton Party | 5-Man | Corpse Run | Ritual of Rime | 5-man is ok but Corpse run seems to be the most used in PvP right now and as such my recco has changed! | Corpse Run was the most popular before Dragon towers and still is useable but on the current map its hard to play Skeleton party due to limited unbound drop locations around the base | ||
| Skeletons | Questing Buddies | Cackle | Exhume | Exhume and Questing buddies are still both great options, Cackle is sub-par | Exhume is now the go-to option! | ||
| Smoke Bomb | Strangers in the Night | Band of Thieves | Through the Shadows | All of these are kinda situational and there isn't really a stand-out "good" talent because they all have their uses. Through the Shadows it the most universally adaptable though which is why I'd reccomend it over the others | Has to be Through the Shadows, only reason to run this spell! | ||
| Sneed | Mine is Money, Friend! | Lead With Greed | Land Grab | Lead with Greed makes Sneed get gold with Speed! But seriously probably the best talent here, Land Grab is nice in PvE IMO (recently got nerfed though) but Lead with Greed means you can generate a decent amount of Gold if Sneed can pick up a chest or trigger his passive | Sneed sucks on this map so really I wouldn't suggest anything with him - to be honest the miner talent is probably the most useful!! | ||
| Spiderlings | Bloated Carapace | Frostbite | Envenom | Envenom is probably the best here for tank killing - Bloated Carapace did just get buffed which may make it more viable | Not used much in PvP but I think bloated carapace or envenom would be best options | ||
| Stonehoof Tauren | Pummel | Momentum | Provoke | Momentum is the best talent even if there are downsides, means you can deal with a ranged unit most of the time and can usually turn a lot of fights in your favour. Pummel is good but only affects the front running target which are usually tanks. | Momentum is the best, allows us to use Stonehoof vs. annoying backline units like Huntress and troll | ||
| Sylvanas Windrunner | Black Arrow | Banshee's Wail | Forsaken Fury | This is relatively straightforward honestly - Black Arrow makes Sylvanas a very strong control backline unit. Without this talent she's extremely subpar IMO. There may be a world where forsaken fury becomes really important in certain decks though. | Black Arrows is her only good talent and even more important on this PvP map | ||
| Tirion Fordring | Divine Shield | Consecrate | By The Light | Divine Shield and By the Light are both good but I think Divine Shield is better overall especially in PvP - Consecrate is awful | Divine Shield remains the most powerful talent for PvP! | ||
| Vultures | Tendon Rip | Feeding Frenzy | Migration | Tendon Rip... can't believe I got baited in the beta by someone who told me migration was better LOL | Not used at all in PvP so hard to give you much of an overview of the best talent | ||
| Warsong Grunts | Blood Pact | Guard Duty | Command | These units kinda suck but Blood Pact is probably the most adaptable talent here. Guard Duty can be useful vs. unbound decks but you're paying a lot of gold to have a unit that may ultimately do nothing and Command is only useful in Beast decks | Blood Pact is really the only good talent, but again, these units are quite low tier in PvP | ||
| Warsong Rider | Saboteur | Razing Focus | Sunder Armor | Razing focus is usually considered best, Saboteur can be really good in maps with high tower damage output (rockets/flame towers) and works well with unbounds. Sunder Armor is a bit situational. | Bad vs Dragon Towers in general so this unit isn't seeing much play at the moment. Previously Razing Focus was the best talent for tower taking though | ||
| Witch Doctor | |||||||
| Whelp Eggs | Rookery | Flame Burst | Chromatic Plating | Flame Burst is OP and I'm almost certain they're going to nerf the damage on it lol. Rookery can be situationally useful to take out a melee unit but realistically Flame Burst still outperforms it. Chromatic Plating is night on useless. | Flame burst is Whelp eggs only good talent and the only reason they are viable in PvP | ||
| Worgen | Lone Wolf | Premeditation | Frenzy | Premeditation is the best talent here by miles, Lone Wolf can be nice but is pretty restrictive to what you can do with it and Worgen has too low HP to really make good use out of Frenzy I think | Premeditation is the best talent, allows Worgen to snipe important units like Huntress |
