70 | RULES RUNDOWN | ||||||||||||||
71 | Full IFPA Rules for the PinGolf format can be found here: https://www.ifpapinball.com/tournament_pages/pingolf/
72 | - Players will be play a course of 9 games in groups of 4 players. You may not begin until your group has 4 players. (Players may play in groups of 2 -3 players on Saturday only after 3pm with permission from a TD only.) Players do not have to play the course in order but it is recommended to prevent errors on score sheet. ( In the event that a game should go down in the middle of the tournament and it is unrepairable, a new game will be selected in it's place. The new game will be as similar as possible to the disabled game. The TD will make the final decision on the substituted game if necessary.) Each Pin-Hole will consist of a pinball machine with a target score objective. The number of balls it takes for the player to reach that target objective will represent the number of Pin-Strokes earned for that hole. Should a player not reach the target score after a full game is completed, a 1 stroke value will be applied to their score. All machines will be set to 3 ball. A maximum of 4 Pin-Strokes per Pin-Hole will be enforced. Scores will be cumulative across all rounds played. All attempts will be made for extra balls to be disabled for all machines. Should a player earn an extra ball, they will play it as part of the same Pin-Stroke on that particular Pin-Hole. Tilting through someone elses ball will result in a one stroke penalty for the offender. The player whose ball was tilted will wait until their turn is up again and play with 1 stroke subtracted from their score. TD will attempt to take measures with older games to prevent tilt throughs. Slam tilting a game in progress will result in a score of 4 strokes for that hole. A second offense will result in a disqualification from the tournament. Only thr Pingolf qualifying games will be on free play at Velum but will be reset back to coindrop after qualifying, before final rounds as more than just the qualifying games will be used for finals. Rulings and Malfunctions will follow the IFPA/PAPA rules: www.PAPA.org;
