Whether a student takes honors or not is usually based on a teacher recommendation. |

Students also have the opportunity to earn college credits while in high school. There is also a GPA boost for students who take AP classes. AP classes are out of 5.0 instead of 4.0 (A=5.0, B=4.0, C=3.0, etc.) |
