44 | RR | SInce Ron gave me the "no location glare" the last time I sent an email, I figured I would tell you I am from Steve Martin's favorite town. Terre Haute, Indiana. And don't worry Ron I am joking about the glare. But in AAA 615, the red shirts are coming episode, you mentioned just recipe, as a way to just get the recipe from any blog or web page. There is also an Android app that will help you do that called Paprika Recipe Manager 3,. Though I would also recommend getting the Windows version that Hindsight Labs makes. (They also have mac and IOS versions) Pay for the pc/mac version because it is not only supporting your devs but the features for this little ecosystem are amazing. Since you can link the recipe database from the apps to the mac/pc versions. The pc version has a built in Chrome browser that you can copy the url for the recipe in and then you can use the app to put all the information into a recipe card. You can even scale up and down the number of servings and the needed ingredients follow suit. You can pick a number of recipes and it will help you create a shopping list to make sure you don't leave the store with too little of any ingredient. Even better, you can categorize the recipes, and even tell the app what you have in the pantry right now. Granted right now the windows app is about $30 bucks, but since the developer is handing the cloud part of the app, to me the price makes sense. (Though in the past if you purchased an older version and then upgraded to a newer version, they did offer a discount on the upgrade.) | https://www.paprikaapp.com/
45 | The Sorted Food Sidekick app has a lot of these features as well and they have a food channel on youtube for several years. Along with podcasts and even live streamed shows. I don't have the Sidekick app, but I have watched the youtube channel for the last few years. Both of these apps can help all of us with wasting less food, by over buying or never knowing what we need to make something when we get to the store. Or knowing what you have at home while in the store. Josh | https://sortedfood.com/sidekick/

47 | EMAIL OF THE WEEK!!! | DRUMROLL
48 | HTD | I'd like to weigh in my thoughts on AI vs Creativity. The only parallel I could draw that makes sense is handloom industry. It took a big hit for handloom industry with the rise of power looms, but that didn't mean the handloom workers were robbed of their craft by automation of the weaving process. Still, the power looms were designed based on the creative works of hand weavers and just made it an easily scalable industry. Right now, people have the need for some meaningless backgrounds in their presentations that they use only once. Why do they need to pay royalties to an actual artist and use their work when they can just ask the AI to generate a background that matches the mood of the content, write an articulated letter of recommendation and paraphrase it, or an application to their boss asking for a raise, especially when English is not their first language? I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. Jeremiah P. Toronto | https://www.stableattribution.com/
