A sanctuary is the place to worship the Almighty Lord. When arriving or leaving a sanctuary, we must perform a ritual to show our respect to Lord.

If there are Tao Transmitting Masters present, we must also include them in the ritual, in order to express reverence for the Heavenly Decree. Thus, Dian chuan Shi was bowed twice.
