PURPOSEAfter reading Mark Davis's QID Emoji Proposal, which explores using Wikidata identifers to add extensibility to the set of Unicode emoji, I wanted to study how useful this would be for "real-world data". Luckily, I already have ready access to a large set of extended custom emoji, from the ActivityPub network. So I created this spreadsheet to try to measure which existing custom emoji in "real world use" would be helped by this proposal.

METHODOLOGYI don't have any methodology yet! I've just set up the spreadsheet! The sheets "all emoji" and "cybre.space" emoji are used to compile the raw data, and classifications are done on the "emoji classifications" sheet. The extra indirection is so that the sheet can be stable in the presence of multiple dynamic data sources. Also maybe this is bad and i'll fix it later tbhTRUEFALSE157<-- mostly pokemon so far
