COVID-19 DONATION BY NORTH EAST DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
(NEDC) On 3th MAY 2020
The north east development commission (NEDC) has donated TWO ambulance, 200 infrared thermometers, food iterms.
Other iterms include 3700 cartons of macaroni 7900 (25kg) bags of rice, 2400 (25kg) bags of maize flour 3700 gallons of vegetable oil, 5600 cartons of tomato paste, 28000 packets of seasoning, 7000 packets of salts, and 1800 (15kg) bags of beans.

Receiving the iterms on behalf of the Gombe State Governor, Mohammadu Inuwa Yahaya by state deputy governor Dr Manasah Daniel.

COVID-19 DONATION BY FEDERAL MINISTRY OF
HUMAINTARIAN AFFAIRS On date 26 APRIL 2020
The federal ministry of humaintarian affairs donated 1800 (50kg) bags of rice mean for the most vulnerable in the state, particularly widows and physically challenge.

The prensenting the foods iterms to the Government on behalf of the minister of Humaintarian affairs, the director Humaintarian Affairs in the minstry Mr Graima Ali Alhaji said the palliative is expected to reach poor in the society.

COVID-19 DONATION BY GOMBE STATE GOVERNMENT

Befor Monday,we commited about 28 million naira at then on Monday , on my return, when the committee was constituted, they estimated and we approve that they spend 296 million naira in oder to make up the isolation places and provide ventilators and other basic needs of healthfacilities. And wqually, we have allacated about 200 million naira through the local government councils for whatever is needed. So all in all , about five hundred million naira (N500,000,000) Govrnor Yahaya said.

The 24 members of the Gombe State House of Assembly have announced the donation of their one month sallary as contribution towards containing spread of th COVID-19 pandemic in the state .

COVID-19 DONATION BY ASHAKA CEMENT COMPANY

Ashaka Cement PLC a subsidiary of Lafarge Africa has donated a 12-bed fully equiped isolation facility and other iterms to Gombe State Government as support to the fight against COVID-19
The Director further said the cement company has donated 3000 containers of 200ml Alcohol-based hand sanitiser, 120 units of hand wash stations as well as COVID-19 awareness campaign posters and flyers translated into Hausa language and a fully equipped ambulance to the state to improving its rapid response operation.

Individual donation from the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN and an indigine of the state, Mr Edward Adamu, who donated 1500 hand sanitizer, 100 face masks and 100 personal protective equipment . The iterm worth of Six million naira (6,000,000)

COVID-19 DONATION BY GOMBE LOCAL COMPANIES

The Likari Ventures in collaboration with Agro Mall and Young Ranchers Nigeria Limited has donated five million naira (5,000,000) to the Gombe state Government , as part of its contribution to fighting the spread of coronavirus COVID -19 in the state.

10 bed Isolation/Holding Centre at the Bonny, equipment and Personal Protectivfive suction machines, three single air conditioners for consulting rooms, five split air conditioners for wards and 10 patient monitor, one oxygen bank consisting of 5 bull nose cylinders, 10 drip stands, 10,000 one-fit N95 health care particulate respirator and surgical masks, 250,000 surgical masks, 50,000 nitrile gloves, 12,500 hooded coveralls with boots, 70 respirators, and wall mounted hand sanitizers.
At the State level, NLNG is donating equipment and materials to upgrade specific facilities at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH). The Company also donated items to the Government which includes two transport vehicles for contact tracing, five ventilators, 30 patient monitors as well as over 100,000 surgical masks.

Other items donated by the Company include 30,000 nitrile gloves, 5,000 hooded coveralls, 8,000 respirators, 200 goggles and 200 face masks

500 KVA transformer donated by Danelec Limited, a truckload of bottled water and soft drinks donated by Nigeria Bottling Company (NBC), face masks and safety aprons donated by Showers Limited and liquid soap donated by Praymerc Nigeria Limited

30 tonnes of rice, 2,000 packets of spaghetti, 1,000 bags of Dawavita. (1kg) each, 500 packs of juice drinks, 1,548 Sanitizers, 1,500 protective garnents, 20 boots, 500 cartons of WAW detergent among many others. Total worth of items donated by this community is 100 million Naira.

Aba Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA)

The items which included 50 Cartons of Noodles, 10 Bags of 50kg Rice, 25 Cartons of Soap and 2 Cartons of Hand Sanitizers were handed over to the Chairman of the Abia State COVID-19 Inter-Ministerial Committee, Barr. Chris Ezem.
